Napoleon Bonaparte spent ten nights in the city of Brno in 1815 before the Battle of three emperors. These historic facts were mentioned during the evening where guests were tasting eleven samples of sparkling wine and also some spirits including French armagnac. In the old times of Napoleonic war alcohol served as a disinfectant or a medicine, this time we... More

I had an amazing night. I couldn't imagine that actually I could taste several good wines in a wine cellar in czech republic. The food is nice, the wine also. Location is on the fields, like an original cellar should be located. So if you are not afraid to go out of the city, try it!

This time participants had an opportunity to taste wine originated from two wineries, One has to manage working with two glasses, two sets of information. Clients eyes, noses and tongues were busy comparng color, nose, taste and harmony of wine samples – always different, sometime more or less. Many thanks for Mr Samsula and Mr Sida who were reliable guides... More

Many people drink wine, only few know what to drink, when and why. We are lucky to be educated by the Moravian Bank of Wine to enjoy the best winew of pink color in summer. Sparkling wine of color similar to roses combined with pieces of sweet water melon - it was just the great start. My heart was most... More

There are many restaurants in Brno, but the wine tastes different in this beautiful, historical and mysterious underground place. This place is a place where you can study wine, wineries and wine culture at least twice a month. I was lucky enough to be an attentive listener at the presentation of MORAVINO VALTICE wine 2012. My paying attention was rewarded... More

Some people prefer red wines but than they feel their legs are somehow heavy, other love white wine but than suffer from acidity. So why not to try pink winew? This... More

Tnis place – the wine cellar at the Brno street of Hlinky - remembers medieval times when the houses were united with an underground corridor connecting thein cellars for better cooperation. You climb down several meters and breath the air full of memories. History seems to be transformed info liquid and visitors can sip it. You are welcome to study... More
