After accessing thru not so gaudy entrance, is huge underground space really surprising. Waitresses are fast, kind and professional. Interesting palette of meals on menu is impressive and so is esthetic dishing, but serving is more about amount, than taste. The quantity shouldn't be at the expense of quality. Better choice of ingredients could solve this problem. It doesn't mean you... More

I used to live in Brno some years ago and I always recommended this restaurant as a place with nice ambience and tasty food for a reasonable price. It is still very nice, I like the place, but during my last visit, I was very disappointed by the food. They used to be fresh&original, now they are very average. Anyway,... More

The perfect restaurant in Brno for a lunchtime meal. Efficient, great value and filling food. These are a few words that I would use to describe Baroko. If you are in Brno on a weekday between 11am and 1pm then this is the place for lunch. Their efficiency is second to none and 90% of the time you will eat... More

The restaurant Baroko is very popular in Brno. We choiced it for very special occasion - graduation of my lovely niece. We were surprised, how full and busy the restaurant was ! Thats maybe the reason why the waitress were so busy - they was really smiley, nice, but had no time to care us. We got first ( and... More

This place is special thanks to its location in the basement of an old Minorite Monastery, that makes its unique atmosphere. It is also known for large choice of wines and delicious steaks. Last time we were there we were not so satisfied with waiters who could not give meal recommendations (one of them said she was new and did... More

We went there for Saturday luch with as a group of adults and children. The place is newly renovated and offers nice atmosphere. The restaurant was half empty so there was no problem to find a suitable table. We ordered typical Czech food - goulash, duck with dumplings and sauerkraut, beef sirloin in cream sauce. I have to say that... More

The restaurant is in renovated cellars of the former Minorite monastery, in the centre of the town, at Orlí 17, with entrance across from excellent HUDY sport equipment store (my Aussie hubby has been very impressed with what all they stock). I've been several times with my daughter, who works nearby, for lunch. One can choose from 5 different lunch... More
