My husband looked this restaurant up online as it was close to where we were stayIng. It had good reviews so we booked and glad we did as it filled up quickly on Thursday evening. We went at 6pm. The food was excellent and service brilliant too. We can recommend the duck breast and beef cheeks for mains and the... More

A very special dinner in a less touristic zone of Prague. Following Tripadvisor's ratings (that we found really true and useful), we ate in this restaurant specialized in bohemian cuisine. We ate goulash and pork shank, with oven potatoes and other amenities as side dishes. Food is excellent, service is fast and the atmosphere is relaxed. As we ate in... More

This is a quaint local restaurant in New Town south of the train bridge. Like most restaurants in Prague there are outside cafe style tables, but unlike the rest of Prague this one is on a quiet neighborhood street. The food was wonderful and the service friendly. I had the Pork Knee and I highly highly recommend it (it is... More

This restaurant is very small but BOY do they pay attention to their foods and presentation! I had read about this place and then was told by a staff member at the hotel that yes, it was very good! We made a reservation (highly recommend you do that!) and we're thrilled from beginning to end!! Don't now remember what entree... More

It's a very nice, but crowded place. We visited it for lunch, after sightseeing in Vyšehrad. Service was ok and very quick, food was tasty, beer as well. Here I tried for the first time mix of beers, which was surprisingly good. I put 4, not 5 only because there is nothing really exiting. I recommend this place, but don't... More

The restaurant is a little tucked away in a less than desirable area, however on approach it looked sophisticated and busy. We were lucky enough to be seated outside which was a bonus. Our food order was taken, and our Waiter brought us some bread, however this wasn't placed in front of us on our table, it was placed on... More

I loved the place for so long and I've been here on number of occassions over last few year ... must have been over 30 times. Yes, the food is good, the beer is good, the service was always generally good. However, the place turned to 100% tourist joint with no interest for anyone local coming back I suppose. I... More

Read good reviews on TA so booked a table. It was a warm evening so very pleasant to sit outside. All the waiters and waitresses speak English, which helps a lot, and they are friendly and quick. My friend had the pigs knuckle and it was very good. I had the beef goulash - I have to say it was... More

Arrived at 1730 on a week night in April. Got right in at a good table. Staff very friendly and all spoke English Had the goulash and a great Czech beer Not gourmand fare but very good and reasonably priced. If you want to sample real Prague food where the locals eat this is for you.

Have tried a few traditional Czech restaurants. Did not love most, but absolutely LOVED U Kroka. Great food, tons of options, lovely staff. Could not recommend this restaurant more. Close to city center about 25 min walk. (We walk any and everywhere so this was quick for us!) Would recommend this to anyone!! Sit outside if you can! Loved it!... More

Description
We are non-smoking small family restaurant focused mainly on Czech cuisine. All of our meals are made without any glutamate, dyes, condiments and other preservatives. To flavor dishes we use just salt, pepper and fresh herbs.

Permanent menu starts at 3pm every weekday. The lunch menu is available from 11am till 3pm until then, but with very limited offer and especially for local people. Regular menu is then available all weekend plus we do weekend specials.
