My girlfriend and I spent an evening in this place, to eat and drink. The basement is a little bar with a jazz jam, however you need to pay to listen to the concert (200Kč, which is quite expensive imo). We then stayed upstairs and were very pleased with the service. Waiters are very kind to you, speak well English,... More

The pub is not very big but the atmosphere is nice and cozy. The waitress was very kind and polite, she was always smiling. The food varies from czech cusine to traditional pub meals, the soup of the day was reeeeeally good! Recommended also for the price.

Food was great. The woman there did an excellent job, although she was solo serving the whole place. Food was excellent and price was reasonable. Recommended!!!

Well, their pork ribs seems to be one of the best in Prague. And they pour interesting beer Velvet (with lava effect). Moreover, price of this beer is nearly half than the same in Potrefena Husa. Onion rings ang garlic toast are good addition for this beer. But this pub is extremely small, so the prior reservation is obligatory. In... More

It cost 100 crowns approx £3.20 to sit in where the musicians were, what a night,it was brilliant. So intimate but even with it being so small it wasn't too loud. There were people there from USA,France,Poland,UK and a good time was had by all. Excellent, cheap, czech kitchen and burgers. Very nice location, cool and romantic, and friendly waiters. We booked a table downstairs as we discovered that on Sunday night they organize a jazz jam session. TOTALLY awesome. We payed additional 100cr each for that and it was totally worth. You can't miss this place.

Quite nice, cute restaurant and pub in walking distance from the heart of Prague. Menu in 5 different languages. Beer Guinnes and 3 types of Czech beers, many long and short drinks for a good prices comparing location and tasty typical czech food and some international food as well. Service nice and fast. Can recommend.

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
