This inexpensive restaurant was a great place to try out many traditional dishes. Very friendly and amazing prices. This is a great restaurant for dining on a budget to try dishes you would not normally have. Reasonably smart interior and large tables giving a comfortable feel in all.

We were the only customers when we visited here in the friday noon. I had half a chicken with rosemary potatoes... and those potatoes with the sauce just made my day; I am still smiling when thinking about them.... Girlfriend had the soup in a bread and it was okay, display sure was awesome but there was nothing really special... More

We entered for the lunch without knowing anything about this place and had a very nice surprise. Fast service, friendly staff, warm and cozy atmosphere. Garlic soup very good, chicken schnitzel very well cooked (kids loved it), honey cake to die for :) The price for 4 people was around 1100czk. Recommend this place, I would return anytime.

Stoppet for a quick lunsj and orderded the goulash soup in bread. Quite honestly we do not really know what this is supposed to taste like, but this was definately to ourl liking. In our opinion it just tasted like garlik, and nothing else.

Th service was fairly perfunctory possibly because the seemed to be short-staffed. The food was also fairly average, although the portions were generous. The restaurant seemed to be fairly busy so perhaps I missed something.

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
