Compared to less known restaurants - the food was absolutely disappointing. With no taste. At the same time, absolutely over-sized prices. Very expensive but not worth at all.

Spent a very enjoyable couple of hours here last night! We had a lovely dinner and some drinks and plates were empty all round which is always a good sign. I had the salmon served with baby buttered potatoes and it was perfect. The rest of the party had fish and chips, chicken with herbs and chicken wrapped in bacon.... More

It was the worst experience from Prague. We came there with daughter to enjoy real check food. We waited there for 20 minutes and nobody came to us. After 20 minute two waiters noticed us and they started to argue who should serve us - none of them wanted. We waited for food another half an hour although there were... More

We only stopped for a beer. Ordered dark beer and was served Kozel. Really good choice. The place also serves food, but we didn't try. Have visited this place more times, the atmosphere is nice.

This place is very good to feel the authentic atmosphere of typical czech pub. Place was very crowded, everyone was talking loud and even singing. Beer was very good and food was fine. But be careful with pretzels and peanuts on the tables - they are not free.

We dined twice at this restaurant. Food is very good. Some of the plates are so big you might have a hard time finishing them. Beer is excellent. The restaurant is very big as it can seat almost 400 people. It is very likely you will find a table even if you have not reserved. Price is medium if not... More

I just go out from the place after waiting more than one hour and fifteen minutes. All my friends eaten and the forget two dishes, so two of us we didn't eat. So, I have to go and and find where to eat in another place because I don't want to wait another hour for a plate. And most of... More

We've been here many times during our visits and the conclusion is: +Beer good, cheap enough and barman looks the part. - servers. Indifferent and may try to 'obtain' a tip. Get a printed bill. - food is 'survival' stuff only and don't eat the pretzels on the table. Sorted.

Party of 13 in a stag party & once thru the smallish front bar there is a very large beer hall with natural light & upper balcony. Perfect. Large Beer 50c, that's £1.50. Brits please note - they always serve it with a massive head everywhere - its the Czech way - don't complain !. Great as a gathering place.... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
