OK, you're in Prague, which is a long way from India, and all of a sudden you have a craving for Indian food? The menu choices here are safe, quick (self serve) and cheap, but so toned down they don't have much flavor. It's Indian food for people who don't really know or like Indian food. There are better choices... More

We got a bit bored of eating too much meat, so this was a relief! It was strange to see that food gets weighed for cost...but I completely get the reason! Good variety, tasty non pretentious food. Will definitely recommend if you like simple Indian vegeterian food!

This is a very basic place. Metal trays, weigh your food, etc. But, that's where the ordinary stops. The food is very good and very good value, not to mention the location is great--right behind TESCO at Narodni trida. Lots of trams and a metro line just meters from the front door. I would recommend it for lunch, especially if... More

Nice buffet, you see the food and put in on your tray, paying according to the weight. Great variety and every thing was tasty - dal, rice, vegetable curry, red beet cake and choclate carrot cake - all vegan! The are sign showing what is gluten free or vegan. The prices are low .

I visited this veggie "fast-food" on Sunday afternoon and it was nearly empthy. It was good suprise because I know that it is pretty full on working days especially during the lunch time. I love that I can take any food from buffet and the best thing is goblet of water on each table. You pay for the weight of... More

Most so called Indian restaurants are North Indian or Pakistani. That means lots of meat and added sugar to most dishes. This restaurant is the real thing. A lot of people come for lunch takeaway but there are enough tables and free water. Don't expect service at the tables coffee or alkohol. Food is supercheap. I love this place.

Went there with my friends after 8pm and we got 40% off, so I basically payed 130 CZK (5€) for a big meal and a drink, Two of my friends have been to India before and were really impressed by how authentic and good the food was. I would recommend the place!

Since I have been away from home (india) for 12 days, I was craving Indian food. Happy to see that they had traditional, street food- samosa. The food was tasty and enjoyable.

Nice Indian vegetarian restaurant in a cool laid back environment... Fairly expensive but a welcome haven amid all the meat on offer in Prague

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
