We went there for a meal as our flat was about 100 yards away. The food was great. I had the pork schntizel with mashed potatoes and my husband had duck and red cabbage. They were both great. The range of beers was amazing, even for the Czech Republic ! They did great cocktails as well. It is a very... More

Great restaurant with authentic Czech food! Great atmosphere. The waiter was fluent in 5 languages and extremely knowledgeable about the food.

Relaxing, casual old world ambiance. Friendly staff and helpful with unfamiliar menu items . Tipping was greatly appreciated . Traditional goulash was tasty and salads were a nice complement . Delicious house brewed beer to wash it all down.

Stopped off for a beer after walking for miles around Prague. Lovely and fresh lager, well kept. Nicely done and friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit.

This is your typical pseudo authentic and pseudo Czech pub with overpriced meals for foreigners. The only good thing about is is the service - not the typically rude Czech service - and the locally brewed beer.

We came there for a late lunch in the afternoon. A rude waiter told us to go up stairs for a table. The rude waitress there told us they don't have a table, and she cannot estimate how long is the wait. We went downstairs and asked the waiter there if they have a table. He was so rude and... More

I would mainly recommend this place for its beer. The food however was good but not delicious. Finally the service is efficient but impersonal.

Typical Czech restaurant in the centre of Prague. The goulash is excellent. They also serve a very nice burger. The grilled supreme of chicken in herbs with parsnip purée was not good, and I do not recommend this dish. Very nice selections of Czech beers. A bit pricy for Prague.

Very quaint restaurant with delicious food and beer. Service was prompt and very friendly. Prices were very reasonable despite being in the heart of old town. Highly recommended.

We arrived about 8pm and were served by Peter. From start to finish everything was perfect. The food was outstanding ( One of the best burgers I have ever had!) and the beer was great. Very reasonably priced and we were made feel so welcome, so thank you Peter!

Description
The brewery and restaurant U Tri ruzi in Prague is situated in the historical center on Husova street close to the famous Charles Bridge and Old Town Square. Right after your entering the feeling of the unique atmosphere of an Old-Prague brewery will overcome you. The feeling is intensified by wall-paintings by artists Jiri Bernard and Pavel Jakl who drew and painted pictures about the history of brewing in the Czech lands as the rich history of the house (the brewery U Tri ruzi).

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
