It is a good place... it's not that cheap but definitely can work if you share your food with your partner, at the end you'll both taste good food and save some money. I went there with my mom and order a pork knuckle and a goulash, the last one is a traditional soup of the Hungarian people but it... More

Excellent restaurant in the heart of Prague. Typical Czech cuisine and many restaurant specialties. Great value for money. Excellent and very tasty food. We went there for dinner, without having had lunch. We had the duck leg and the pork ribs and it was yummy! Very big portions. They brew their own beer and it is very tasty. We left full... More

The food was overall good. The roasted pork was not the best I have tasted. I would not strongly recomend the steak. The apple strudel was delicious! Service was good and price acceptable.

Husband demanded a beer so popped in for a quick one! The place is pretty old which is great but I personally found it slightly too dark inside! The head on the beer is half a glass, but guess it's just a Czech way of pouring beer!

We visited this place as a large group of tourists after a recommendation saying it was one of the more authentic and better value places to eat and drink out in Prague. Well, out of 9 people none of us left the place happy with their food -9 different dishes, from pork knuckle to chicken wings including salmon or pork... More

Amazing local food (pork knuckle with sauerkraut was cooked to perfection!) and selection of local beers at very affordable prices. Great location on the edge of old town, easily reachable on foot.

Fantastic place with good ambiance. Downstairs is for non-smoking people and the ground floor is for smoking people. Beer is great and the food is incredible! good service and they have the menu in multiple languages! If you want to try Cech food that is a great place and the price is very honest!!

This tavern is located right behind the Church of Our Lady before Týn on the historical center of Prague. The tavern offers unpasteurized beer and typical dishes of the Czech gastronomy, the food is very good and the portions are quite large so I recommend a single dish per person. The prices taking into account the size of the portions... More

We finished lunch and started to check our plans of sights. In 5 minutes appeared a waiter and told we need to hurry up as they've got many visitors. Half of the table were vacant :(

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
