We stayed in the city center but took a bus to reach this place. We didn't find it difficult to locate at all. We tried the apple, which was absolutely fresh and delicious. It's so cheap and one is definitely enough for two people or more. Saw this place featured on Samantha Brown's travel show and it does not disappoint.... More

There are only two ways you will find about this place: either by someone's reccommendation or randomly walking past it. Always freshly baked, always warm off the oven, wether it's the poppy seed, vanilla cream, plum or the more traditional apple filling, this strudel will be a wonderful treat for your senses. And that portion can easily feed 2 people.

For about 1.50 Euros you get a Strudl that is too big for most people to finish. My wife and I shared one and she couldn't finish her half. We are not Strudl connoisseurs by any means, but it tasted great to us. I'd suggest picking up a little tub of vanilla icecream to go on the side and enjoy... More

We found it! We had also seen this on the Samantha Brown show, so we had to find it. It was the most delicious of sweet treats. We bought one of each, apple, cheese and poppyseed. Our favorite was the cheese. They were so heavy, and at 2 euros it was a steal.

This piece of art apple strudl totally worth a 20 minutes ride outside of city centre. And all this pleasure for less then 2 euros.

This is a very small store in a residential neighbourhood and you have to go there quite specifically for it. But believe me: it's worth it. The applestrudl sold here is simple yet amazingly good, just the right sweetness, crunchy outside and chewy inside. And it's incredibly cheap too, considering you'll get a whole studl 25cm long, warm and freshly baked.... After seeing Samantha Brown rave about the pastry at this shop, me and my wife decided to take a walk and see if we could find it. Well, 3 hours later we FINALLY found this little place in the most unlikely of places. Let me tell you that the walk was totally worth it! We placed our orders and took... More

Delicious strudl! Very inexpensive (45ckz - 50ckz per portion), and large portions! Definitely out of the way, but that adds to the experience.

It is a bit of a hike from old town and it is in the middle of a residential neighborhood but well worth it. The apple strudl and the custard strudl were excellent.
