We had dinner at Sansho. It is a family style shared dinner, chef's choice. 4 amazing appetizers, main course, and side dishes. Excellent service. Incredible food, each bite is a taste of heaven

Place was good, but not exceptional. Staff was professional. The special of the day, Octopus Satay, was our favorite, but did not take a picture of it...

There was not one dish in this 8 course degustation menu that we didn't love. From the salmon sashimi in ginger and soy, through the divine pork belly and soft shell crab sliders, we loved it all. Friendly attentive staff and very rustic decor help make this a really enjoyable and unique dining experience in Prague.

We took the €50 6-course tasting menu which was definitely worth the try. Obviously a little expensive for Czech Republic but the food was really great. The different courses were diversified with a combination of different fishes and meats, with wonderful Asiatic notes. Service was fast, easy going with a a detailed explanation of every course in English.

Very very nice staff - pleasant evening. Very good wines. All the dishes were tasty, inspiring and well seasoned ! Test was great ... maybe a bit to heavy for what seafood typically means for me but the overall experience was very much worth the visit. My favorite was octopus and duck with rise.

Sansho is definitely a place to taste something different. The creativity of the chef/owner is present in every detail from the menu to the minimalistic decoration of the restaurant. The menu is wide enough to accommodate gluten intolerant, vegetarian and vegan people. Our server was very polite and helped each one of us to find the right options to enjoy... More

We had a dinner with 5 friends in Sansho. Interior is very minimalistic, which I like, food was AMAZING, only thing that was disappointing were the serving guys, they were too busy with themselves, not really listening and hearing what the guest is saying. And sort of clap in face was for us was when we were asking something about... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
