The place is nice and the beer selection huge... we haven't tried any food, but the menu offers a good variety of choice

Ate at this restaurant on 2 occasions and I have to say the food was excellent and very good value. it pays to either book or get there early as it can get busy. It looks a bit of a dump from the outside but dont be fooled it is excellent as you can by the number of people that... More

We choosed this restaurant because we wanted to try kangaroo and ostrich, sadly they were out of kangaroo meat at the time. So 7 of us tasted ostrich which was tasty, one of us ate duck which was juicy. Beer selection was massive and we tried few. Service was normal, nothing to complain. Good experience.

The place insists that you enjoy your beer without distractions of the modern world. No WiFi here, only good beer. And a lot of them. The beer menu is as thick as it gets before turning into a Bible. Put away your smartphone and get to talk to your friends. Alternatively you are welcome to enjoy a good meal while... More

Just been there for a pint of beer with a few friends on Saturday 22nd April. Sat down and ordered 8 beers with very good English communication with the staff. Final bill 607 krone, paid with 1000 cash krone. Staff then disappeared with our change and receipt, forgot English and asked us to leave. We finally spoke to the manager... More

Five of us dined on a Wednesday evening. Be sure to make a reservation if you'd like to eat upstairs at street level. We were seated in the lower level with no windows. The beer sampler for 5 Euros is a good value and great way to enjoy the flavored beer. I'm not a beef drinker but I did enjoy... More

The outstanding feature of this bar/restaurant is that they offer a selection of 200 beers from around the world. The local Czech food we had was average, it seemed to be warmed up and still a bit cold. The waitress did not speak English, which was not a problem.

The yummiest mushroom risotto I have ever had, needed more waiters/ waitresses as there was only one woman. The atmosphere is very chilled and relaxed and a great place to sample beer.

We like beer and were told that Prague is good for beer. Not quite right. Prague is excellent for beer and we lucked out big time at this small, comfortable and friendly hostelry. Their draught beer is exquisite and the bottled beer selection is extensive - Belgium, Czech and even UK beer. Our visit lasted 5 days in Prague and... More
