I visited 3 times during my stay in Prague. Introduced by a Czech friend and had a divine tarte citron. Went back to purchase easter eggs for said friend and finally to get chocolates for my wife. I can't fault the food, coffee or the service.

Myself and my partner visited here this afternoon and sampled some amazing cakes that the shop had to offer. Definitely would not return as the two waitresses were rude and uninviting.

Our first visit despite walking past it for many years, a morale booster was needed after not so good medical news so we in we went. It goes without saying the range and quality of cakes is superb. Mind you, this is reflected in the prices charged! Staff are friendly and helpful, it is never crowded, my only complaint is... More

My wife and I are FOODIES and I am a huge dessert fan that's been to hundreds of bakery's. I am currently traveling Europe and have been to Greece, Austria, Germany, Hungary and obviously Czech. Trust me when I say the quality of bread, wheat, and pastry sheets is definitely on another level. I do suggest getting a bitter, or... More

This is the place for you if you like French patisserie and Italian coffee. Here they serve Cafe Vergniano in my opinion one of the best! Right next to the counter is a work area where you can watch the delicious cakes being created. The cakes are really delicious. While ordering we were explained in detail the ingredients and flavours.... More

we stumbled upon this little cafe, and went in because of the colourful pastries. The quality of the baked goods is excellent and the real Italian coffee tastes very good. we loved the unusual flavour of the bonsai cake and the rich chocolate of the sacher cake. the staff is very friendly and helpful and obviously love what they are... This truly is a hidden gem. Located in a quiet arcade, it serves proper coffee and has a vast selection of teas and cakes on offer too. All looked amazing and tasted great too. Was great to sit down and escape the busy streets so thoroughly recommend.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
