Never met such rude staff in my life. Money thrown at me by a waiter when I asked him to remove something that we had not eaten from the bill, all while he was laughing. Pleasant food.

A warm and friendly atmosphere welcomes you and the food offered is simple but substantial. We had a light soup followed by lamb and a light dessert washed down with beer.

There's a separate menu that has plenty of gluten free options, which was a real treat for my wife who has Coeliac. There's even gluten free beer! However, our dinner experience was completely ruined by the staff. I was mocked by the waiter for not letting the woman behind us in line go first, they were very abrupt, my wife's... More

The negative reviews on here and Google are not fair in my opinion. I took a chance as we hadn't booked and while when we entered we were seated straight away (4 people) within 20 minutes it was packed. The staff were very friendly and gave us English menus. All the food was very reasonably priced with good explanations. The... More

My wife and I have eaten here twice in 3 nights. My wife is GF and I'm not but I choose from the GF menu so that we can share. The food is yummy, there's lots of it, the prices are good and the staff are helpful and knowledgeable.

10 of us had dinner on a Thursday night. Four people shared an enormous platter of meats that looked amazing and the group loved the taste. I had the small grilled meats and veggies. That was more than enough food and the taste was very good. Fried cheese was one of the best items on the menu. Comes with fried... More

The minute we got there the waitress was very pushy and when we asked questions she got visibly annoyed. The food was okay but when the bill arrived she said we had not paid enough as we had to include 10% service charge although we had not had the chance to leave a tip. We we're going to leave this... An entire gluten free menu!!! And the food was amazing. Dalibor was our server and taught us the correct way to eat the steak tartare like a true Czech. He was amazing and the experience was truly exceptional . Food all homemade. A must go!

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
