The location is the value of this restaurant, just in front of the old clock. For this kind of places I already give by granted that the food cannot be great and everything will be overpriced. And that is the fact. So the reason for my low rating is then mainly driven by the poor service. We, tourists, are not... More

This bar/restaurant is very well based in front of Oroloj and the Old Town Square. The waiter was kindly and had a good English level. The beer was good, the menu has a good diversity of whiskey and bourbon and the Carpaccio was the best I ever ate. Prices are a little expensive, but worth it.

Extremely expensive restaurant coupled with disastrous service. We paid around 80 EUR for two steaks and two glasses of house wine. The wine menu is inexistant should you wish not to buy a bottle. Waiters are slow and like to make fun of their customers. Horrible experience!

Came to this restaurant on our first night in Prague for pre dinner drinks and to do some people watching, and it was all round great! Perfect seat right at the astronomical clock, lovely cocktails, beer and tapas snacks. Obviously with the location the prices are slightly inflated, but it's worth it for a treat.

Very sad to write this as most places in Prague delivered excellent customer service, but here was terrible. It wasn't even that busy, only 4 other couples dining and a few drinking beers :/ The food looked ok on other tables and it's in a great location to people watch, but alas, no food so no real opinions other than... Great place and nice view to the clock but really slow service and what an awful, bad humoured waiter! Free wifi doesn't work either.

Set right opposite the astronomical clock in the old square. We enjoyed the most delicious goulash soup served in a hollowed out loaf of bread - perfect lunch on a chilly day. We sat outside under heat lamps with blankets round us. Friendly staff and reasonably priced

We didn't eat here; we just found it a comfortable spot to sit and people watch with a drink. Their mint teas were lovely but the service was extremely slow and indifferent. There were times when I wanted to order a second drink but it never happened as no one bothered to see to us. The staff almost avoid eye... More

The service and atmosphere was pleasing but our food all had a very strange taste off it that we can't quite put our finger on. The same taste was in our steak and mixed grill. The only food not tainted by this particular taste was the French fries. We didn't find it enjoyable at all.

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
