The restaurant is situated on the premises of an old Benedictine monastery located just about two kilometers westward of the Prague castle. Its stylish, modestly furnished interior does not try to conceal the fact that the building served originally as a local farm shed. Its...More

Very good value. Good beer. Excellent food, well served. Secluded area by the Adalbert hotel. Worth the detour as a bit out of the way unless familiar with tram. Definitely need a reservation. The pork knee is enormous, more than a normal male can manage....More

Located some distance away from the nearby tourist hot spots, and thus not overrun, this charming tavern, part of a Baroque Benedictine abbey, offers delicious local specialities in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.

This place was a great find - Great authentic Czech food, lovely atmosphere and ambience and a rustic setting. The service was friendly and there is the option of an English written menu - Well worth a visit..... But it is advisable to book!

I believe it's the time they actually close. When I had dinner there, we left sometimes before 22h. After a walk, I passed by the restaurant and it was closed.
