This restaurant connected to the lovely Savic hotel serves excellent hearty food, duck, rabbit, pork and of course goulash dishes. Everything we samples was excellent and the price was very acceptable In the evening it's lovely to sit outside with a rug over your knees watching the world go by enjoying good beer or wine. Highly recomended

Beautiful restaurant in the old center and part of the Dominican Friary (but not run by them). Pity about the food. The whole menu very stodgy and meat laden, with few non-meat alternatives and those unimaginative. You'd think vegetables were banned. I ordered the pheasant which came with wedged potatoes and a berry sauce. The potatoes had clearly been cooked... More

My wife and I ate here on November 2nd and we both said it was one of the nicest and tastiest meals we have ever had ( and we go out a lot !). The table service was excellent and the staff were very attentive . I had the steak loin and it was delicious ....beautifully cooked and cut like... More

Looking for somewhere to have a snack before going to the airport and home we came across this place. I only wanted a burger, which when it came, was the best I have had for a long time. NB I don't normally eat fast type food. My wife had the goulash which was excellent. No alcohol was wanted so our... More

DONT EAT HERE! We've had the most amazing meals throughout Europe for the past 4 weeks and tonight we ended our running streak. Myself and my partner had dinner here and were sorely disappointed. The restaurant itself looks so appealing from the outside (we were unaware it was part of a hotel until we sat down.. our first mistake). The... More

Had a good range of local specialty dishes, and the Duck I had was delicious. Accompanied by a local red wine, which was interesting and reasonably priced. Always interesting to try wines you know nothing about - nothing to lose if reasonably priced. Located in Savic hotel and offers inside and outside dining. Sitting outside offers good people watching.

We were at october 2016 and it was terrible. They forgot our food and we was waiting more than 40 minutes. Pheasant was so dry and goulsah was absolutely tasteless. We asked to pay only for drinks and they do not even argue because they understood that it was awful....

Dear Guests, thank you for sharing your experience which forced me to check on situation personaly. I can confirm that during your visite, our kitchen became due to illness of chef, short on staff and as many other out-side gardens has closed their business, our garden restaurant is becoming time to time overloaded. I am very sorry that you have... More

We stayed at the connected Savic Hotel for four nights and the breakfast was included. This was a great option as the coffee was strong, the breakfast expansive, and the omelettes were very filling. The dinner's there were also nice when the weather was giving us problems.

We had dinner here one night while staying at the hotel. The food and service were both excellent and the prices were reasonable for what you got,

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
