Food is good and we ordered 2 liter beer with a tap (+), however the food took very long time, they forgot the bread and two friends orders was misplaced somehow. The friends got free beer, but it took very long time until they got their food.

The service was impeccable. The food is outstanding. It is probably one of the more expensive eateries in Prague, however not by that much at home. It is well worth a visit and can highly recommend the goulash in a bread roll. There is live music on selected nights of dulcet tones, there was a saxophonist playing when we went.... More

The atmosphere in the restaurant was fantastic. We were in a romantic basement with a live show right next to us. The food was very good as well and not really expensive.

One of the neatest restaurants we have eaten in over the past 5 weeks of travel. It is easy to miss on the southeast side of the Old Town Square, as it looks like any of the other dozen outside cafes but inside you go down to the cellar and the decor is amazing! The menu has lots of choices... More

The outside seating area is great for people watching on the Old Town Square, and you can happily sit with a beer without being hurried. There is also a restaurant downstairs in an old 12th century cave, which is very spacious and modernly decorated. They have live entertainment most nights and the cocktails are quite reasonably priced. The food was... More

We recently went to the white horse for dinner. Very beautiful cellar, cosy corners and very, very friendly staff. You don't feel as a tourist but actually as an appreciated guest. The food selection was nice with some good local dishes and international cuisine. Overall a clear recommendation. On top, the location is brilliant right in the heart of the... More

We popped into this restaurant since it was one of the few places to eat we found around midnight with the kitchen still open. Everything we ordered was good but the prices seemed twice the median prices you find in Prague. The place is obviously located in the heart of the city but we were inside in the basement where... Doesn't look much different from numerous Old Town Square restaurants from the outside, but once you are in the downstairs part it is completely different and wonderful. Good food and good service, so what more can you ask for? Highly recommended if you accept where you are and the prices payable for good quality there.

Being in the touristy old town this place could easily have been over priced and under delivered, but nevertheless we decided to give it a go as the venue looked very cosy. I tried the goulash soup to start and immediately knew that we'd made the right choice. There was so much flavour! I then had duck for main, which... More

Found ourselves being escorted down to the cellar which was not what we expected. Lovely atmosphere with live music and brilliant surroundings. Waitor was lovely and beer very good. Good value.

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
