Their pizzas are great, probably best I had in Prague. Focaccia was awful, it was just a pizza dough and had nothing to do with focaccia. Worst thing and reason why they won't even see me again is the service which is same in both...More

If you are looking for authentic pizza then this should be on your list of places to visit. We have heard wonderful things about San Carlo (their Dittricova was their fist location) and as such wanted to try. We were not disappointed. Our waiter was...More

We found the restaurant when strolling around looking for a place to have dinner. We entered and were immediately greated by a nice waitress. The pizzas were excellent! The tiramisu not as great. I'll gladely recommend it if you want a good pizza!

Went there due to recommendation by our hotel (related to the restaurant, they openly said) and because as Albanians we like Italian food. Did not disappoint. Good atmosphere, good Naples-type pizzas (especially Buffalina), especially good La Parmigiana (aubergine in rich tomato-based sauce).

Really nice Italian pizza that tastes like it was made with fresh ingredients. Location is great and I liked the ambiance with 90s Italian music. :)

The title of the review says it all. We have had pizza all over Prague and this is simply the best. Very cheap for the size of the pie, plus great service. Highly recommended!

Yes decor is a bit weird but this is Prague not New York and pizza is fantastic! People who said its soggy and too much crust - stick your frozen Papa Jones - because you have no idea what you talking about. We also sat...More

Description
Located right next to the Charles Bridge, the newly opened Ristorante San Carlo Mala Strana, named after the famed Opera theatre in Napoli, provides a cosy atmosphere with Italian friendly touch and most importantly the authentic Napolitan pizza. „Pizza is a passion and an art for Neapolitans and it has clear rules how it should be prepared“, explains the acclaimed Neapolitan pizzaiolo Antonio di Filippo. „The key are the ingredients and the right preparation. The stone oven should be over 400°C to ensure that every bite is crispy just as it should be.“
