My wife and I came here as a first stop just after arrival to Prague. I had Husa Burger and she had Tagliatelle con Pollo, followed by Staropramen Unfiltered (must try!!!). Food is very good for this type of restaurant. For desert my wife ordered "Tvardohovo skoricove knedlicky" and she surprised with a mix of taste... enjoy your stay and... More

I came for a four day trip. The place is not looking warm, but the quality of the service and the food will take you to a different level. Staff work is amazing and it deserve to be on top choices for Prague. They have a great cool beer, but i guess it is a common thing for Prague, so... More

The Potrefena Husa chain of restaurants spread throughout Prague are superb places to visit for a nice meal or a drink. This particular Potrefena Husa is in a superb location being close to the River Vltava,The Dancing House and several statues and sites. The restaurant itself is superb with a modern interior, long serving bar and a wonderful outside seating area.... More

Potrefena Husa is a chain of restaurants serving Czech cuisine and beer. I've been to Potrefena Husa Resslova twice, both times the food and atmosphere were excellent. My personal favorite was "Svíčková na smetaně", which is a traditional Czech dish. I definitely recommend to pay a visit if you're anywhere near the Dancing House. Unfortunately, can't say the same about... More

Great modern pub serving good food and Staropramen beers. A bit off the beaten track but worth seeking out. Good atmosphere and friendly efficient staff. Good range of drinks including Czech wines and beers for all tastes and good food. Give the Mangalica pork a try - local rare breed. Very tasty.

Have visited many of the Potrefena Husa’s around Prague and I find them all reliably good but the one at Ressolva is my favourite, the brick vaulted ceiling gives it a more traditional atmosphere than some of the other outlets. Visited here twice on my most recent trip. On my second visit, for dinner, I had the beef tartare (fabulous!)... More

Wow, what a great little place. Staropramen's pub chain. It's in the cellar so a very Czech style. The walls have all the brick exposed yet the restaurant is lovely and warm. The no smoking zone is the largest and has more comfortable seating. The staff were great. Really helpful and efficient 👍 The food too was delicious. Stuck with... More

The food was good, but not extraordinary. I expected a bit more from the goulash soup in bread - the bread had an overpowering cumin flavor. All in all, it was a good soup, but not one that I'd crave. We've had buffalo wings and lamb sausage as well. The wings tasted very good and were well combined with the... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
