Great little restaurant. A few minutes walk from the old town square, the exterior caught our eye and we took a look at the menu. There is a man outside, who brings you into the restaurant, however he let us browse the menu in peace and didn't push us into coming inside once. Lovely touch! The interior was cosy and... More

Went in because the menu had some interesting offerings i had the Hunters Pin which turned out to be a skewer of different meats and vegetables which was quite tasty accompanied by potato croquettes my wife had a different meal but it was basically the same as mine but just served differently like a plate of roast meat. We had a good meal in a place full of locals rather than tourists who eat on the other side of the square. The food was delicious, plentiful and at a good price. Of all the restaurants we ate at, this was the best.

not pretentious, but good traditional meat food. I had the mix meat plate which I recommend. The settings is non descript, but efficient service. Food was prepared on command. Good apple roulade dessert. Not fancy, but a solidly, traditional good czech meal.

If have to be dragged into a restaurant by an old woman outside, it ain't boding well. We needed a toilet so we went in on anticipation of having just a beer but they gave us menus anyway so we decided to eat. My partner (female) ordered chicken schnitzel and I ordered Goulash. Basically it was tough meat with gravy... More

Plus they charge £1 for a pot of ketchup, £1 for mayo, etc... they put a 37% additional tax bill on top of what u paid to eat. They demand a large service tip at the end. They sell erdinger beer on the... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
