Good local fare at very reasonable prices! If you want to see what it's like to be a smoker, spend a few minutes at the bar when you first enter. A great local spot for a pivo and the culture; however if you wish to eat, go downstairs or in the back and grab a table. It's busy so timing... More

U Rudolfina pub is a small pub, with no variety in beers nor wines. Service was disappointing. When I asked if there was recommended wine I was told there's only basic red or white, because "This is a pub" (Meaning that no recommended wine is to be expected at a pub). Potato croquettes also disappointing. Charge extra for Ketchup and... More

Mistakenly entered this restaurant as we were searching for traditional Czech food. Ordered food in the basement restaurant and ordered 2 goulash and 2 chicken snitznels and plate of fried cheese, menu was only in Czech so hoped it was going to be authentic. Food was not good beef was three piece on place tough fatty and chewy, the chicken... More

Recently re-opened, they are looking for a way to conceptualize it up until the end of March 2017. For the time being, it functions as a self-service buffet. Some might get bothered, but it's a question of preference. I liked that they offer healthy snacks, bread could be purchased by piece, wine selection is amazing and the desserts are out... More

When we wanted to eat here the first time, they had not be willing to give us a place. But since then we have been eating here many times and now thy always try to find a free space for us. The waiters are nice but at the beginning not to friendly to tourists. If the want, they are able... More

We were there for lunch and enjoyed the beer, the soup, the sausage and the fried cheese. Many locals eat there, and there is no English menu. We loved the place, the food and the atmisphere

Went here after a walking tour with the guide, Vaclaw. The food was typical Czech, plentiful, well priced and service was fast. Would definitely recommend.

Rudolfina is a classic Czech Pivnice and I've visited here many times but for some reason I hadn't frequented the place since my visit in 2010. Despite the 6 and a half years gap nothing has changed. The place still does top notch tankovna Pilsner Urquell and the food is solid, if unspectacular but at a very reasonable price considering... More

The title is citation of my friends, and I could agree with them. Beside the beer, they have one of the best traditional food in Prague and usually very pleasant stuff. It is often crowded, especially after performances in Opera House Rudolfinum, so it is good to consider taking a reservation.

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
