Timeless inviting bohemian cafe offering the best breakfast I have ever had and am longing to be back there having the French or the healthy best coffee I have ever had the pleasure to drink . The homemade bread is divine and the service can only be described as graceful worth going to Prague just to back here!!

Highly recommended if you book 3-4 days in advance for a table!! The service was oook...not so "friendly" and smiley staff...If you want a posh place, here you go...for sure very tasty food tho! Also not the best place to relax as its so noisy!

This Cafe is pure class and a timeless classic. The food was superb and service impeccable. The range of tempting cakes and pastries is wide and will justify many visits. Breakfast lunch and dinner all top of my list and in fact so good that i am wondering if anywhere else in Prague is worth visiting. Enjoy this wonderful experience... More

While in Prague we tried all the "old fashioned cafes" in town. In my opinion cafe Savoy outstands them all. The place is rather small but there is also a kind of veranda that gives a little more space to the cafe that can be quickly packed. The decor is mainly composed of a fantastic ceiling and the atmosphere is... More

We had a lovely "pit stop" here on our walk around the city. I had the hot chocolate and my husband had a cappachino. We shared the apple strudel that was fabulous. There was an interesting selection of drinks and most of all.....cakes. All delightful. A very plush cafe and obviously popular. The food I saw served to other customers... More

One of the places you must visit in Prague. Amazing decoration and professional service. The carrot soup and coffee Savoy are my favourite choices.

The food was excellent - we had omelette and eggs with truffles plus croissants, but all the dishes looked good. The decor and ambience is lovely - belle epoch recast as art deco - the staff were helpful and professional and the prices were very good value for the quality of food. This would be a five star review if... More

Fabulous place. Elegant surroundings, uniformed staff. Good food, good service, good value. Try the carrot soup ( restaurant). The ceiling is worth a visit on its own.

Many people told me to eat at Cafe Savoy for breakfast. It's about a ten minute walk from the John Lennon wall, so the location is perfect. Since we arrived during a busy time, my friends and I had to wait for a table, which took under ten minutes. Staff was friendly and service was good. The breakfasts that are... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
