Delish. Meats and oils directly sourced from Italy and you can tell! Very fresh. Had the cold cuts, fennel shrimp salad with oranges (perfectly balanced), rabbit pasta and octopus. The chef is tops and the service was charming and helpful. Plus great wines by the glass. No complaints to be made.

If you are looking for really great cuisine in a beautiful setting with fantastic service then this is definitely the place. I went there with my wife and four children. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Prague. The food was amazing and we were so well looked after by our waiter. A big thank you to... More

Visited Divinis for a special occasion and I'm so glad we did. Food was amazing, everything cooked perfectly. The duck and donut was an unusual combination but worked really well. Wine was really nice and the service was very attentive. All things considered Divinis is also excellent value.

Divinis is an attractive small Italian restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere, situated in Prague Old Town. They offer a tasting menu or an a la carte menu. We opted for the a la carte as we had over indulged in cake and coffee a few hours earlier. The shared antipasto was delicious as was the grilled calamari with cauliflower pure... More

Group of colleagues enjoyed an exceptional meal here. The service was outstanding, not a single thing was too much trouble. All the food chosen got high praise, the veal cheeks succulent and full of flavour. Italian in origin, Czech in a rich, deep interpretation. And good quality ingredients. Highly recommend and will return.

Amongst quite a few nice options in the area we decided to give Divinis a try and it was worth it! Very cosy atmosphere, beautiful details hanging from the ceilings... friendly English speaking staff from whom we took some suggestions for our meal. All the food served was very good with the highlight being a delicious Beef Tartar. Very nice... More

Prague is full of italianoide restaurants but this is clearly a popular one for those not on a tight budget. The food and wine were very good as is the ambience. The service is normal for Prague i.e affable but slow by current standards. Recommended.

Last minute reservations on a weekday. The restaurant was full and yet the service was unhurried and well coordinated. Plates were put down in unison so no one had to sit looking at a full plate waiting for the rest of the party to be served. Food choices were broad and covered most desires but all in our party had... More

Description
Since 2008 the restaurant Divinis has been seeking to exceed the expectations of even the most demanding customers and understand that a truly memorable dining experience combines superb food, efficient service and comfortable, ambient surroundings made by Italian architect Luciano Belcapo/Evodecor.

Our Chef Jan Kratochvil keeps the best tradition of Italian food with top ingredients and simple preparations. Daily specials are always on the peak of their freshness and are basically the freshest buys from morning market.

The wine selection is primarily Italian with many very well known labels in wine industry.

Open late each night, the restaurant is also perfect for post theatre dinner. The Estate theatre, State Opera, National theatre as well as other theatres are a short walk away.

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
