Excellent friendly service in a typical small quaint local pub. The minty lamb chops I had were gorgeous and melted in the mouth. The food was freshly cooked. Well behaved dogs are allowed. We will go there again next time we are in the area.

Description
Grade 2 listed thatched roof property built in the 1530's. Was originally the Post Office and accommodation for the Postmaster, only becoming a pub in 2001. the property still has a lot of its original features, low ceilings, beams, an inglenook and original bread oven. The pub sells homemade cooked food and a small selection of local beers and more, recently obtaining entry into the Good Beer Guide. Warm welcome awaits.
