Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Too bad for the service will be the young age since it is a little careless, but otherwise all excellent as always, excellent food quality price wonderful in 3 with 3 appetizers, 3 first courses, 3 seconds, one of which of the excellent venison, 4 well-kept side dishes wine and water 70 € I always Recommendation. Beautiful place, quiet, out of the chaos of the city go there because it is worth it. Unfortunately, he no longer serves dinner.

For years we have been stopping for lunch after spending the morning looking for mushrooms!
It never disappoints with starters, first and second courses of meat
Excellent desserts
Very honest price
See you soon and thank you for your courtesy in service and welcome

Tuesday, August 13, 2024. Invited by friends. Hot weekday, of those for salads, soft drinks, smoothies and ice cream. Yet... Arrived on site at 1 pm and entered, the well-insulated room with open windows freed us. I started with appetizers, very varied, then among the 5/6 first courses I chose the plin ravioli with mushroom sauce, great. Second courses there too 5/6... roast beef, very tender and tasty with a side of peperonata (I also tasted a slice of capocollo with baked potatoes). Superlative desserts... The semifreddo pistachio, amaretto and nougat was a delight (but there were many others). I cannot say anything about the wines, as I do not drink them, but the other diners seemed satisfied. I will return

Restaurant attached to a small village hotel, where you can breathe air of yesteryear. Everything here smells of tradition, from the interior decor to the menu, although there are some aspects a "pure" traditionalist might not like. In short, good and well-made dishes, without getting to be exciting: for example, I tried as an appetizer a tuna loin in which the sauce was not spread, but resting on slices of meat like a walnut and tasted more like mayonnaise than tuna, first of the walnut sauce pansotti in which the nuts could not be seen, second a citrus fillet in which the meat seemed "untied" from the sauce and baked potatoes, those yes, without flaws. My similar menus. All washed down with a bottle of Barbera in three. The price, however, is exceptional: 25 euros each for a lunch like this in other places is unimaginable, so credit to merit.

Non-existent welcome, cheap starter, first courses (mushroom sauce) bland and tasteless; in a plate of tagliatelle with mushrooms a beautiful display of a "host" larva of some porcini mushroom. Second courses acceptable. Mediocre quality of breaded mushrooms. It's not worth going there anymore. Sin!

The Trattoria of yesteryear, in the noble sense of the word. Quality food and atmosphere really nice and relaxing. Fast and courteous service, put you at ease. Excellent wines, including that of the House. Account of other times! Discovered by chance, it will be one of our destinations! Let's hope Owner and Collaborators continue like this!
We highly recommend it!

We enjoyed a pleasant diner. The staff was friendly. But based on the rating on TA, the food did not live up to our expectations. The antipasti were good, but not stunning. The primi ok, the secundi were over cooked in my opinion. The potatoes down right dry. However the price was very reasonable. With four persons we spent no more than 100 euro's, drinks included.

Albergo Ristorante Da Rosina is off the beaten path, but well worth searching for. Sad to say, "typical Piemontiese" food often turns out to be uninspiring and boiled to death until everything gives the impression of being a uniform, bland gray mass. Rosina is the complete opposite. Yes, the food is from the Piemonte and Liguria regions, but it is prepared and served in an absolutely delightful way.
We ate Sunday lunch as a party of six. Rather than the standard antipasti presented as a plate arranged with sliced salami and prosciutto plus a Russian salad, we were offered a selection of a dozen imaginative antipasti. Most of us tried only about half of them because sampling all twelve would have ruined the meal, not that they weren't all delicious. The sliced beef, for example, had a mayonnaise sauce. In most places I would wonder how long ago it was prepared. At Rosina I got the impression it was made only moments before. I have no idea how they manage it. I was impressed. And that feeling of absolute last-minute freshness held true for absolutely everything we ate.
For my first plate I took a chance on risotto Barolo, knowing that I was risking being served a blob of cold, gluey, stuff like I've experienced at some other restaurants. Risotto takes a half an hour to do right and then it should be served immediately. But based on the great antipasti, I decided to go for it. To my delight, the risotto was hot and soft with each grain of rice slightly al-dente; in short it was perfect. My companions tried a variety of the other 6 or 8 options and all were similarly pleased.
We also had a choice of 6 or 8 options for the second plate including a fantastic roasted guinea fowl. I enjoyed the roasted pork with a nice beer sauce. I'm happy to report it was truly roasted, not just boiled and sliced.
I didn't count the desert choices but there must have been more than a dozen. Not only were they good, but quite fancy too. We finished up with the usual coffee, lemoncello, and grappa trinity.
This restaurant is simultaneously casual and fancy. The dining room is large and there were at least a hundred people there, all of them Italian except for my wife and me. Of course they were excited about the food and engaging each other in conversation (as usual). This means it's noisy, so if you want a quiet meal where you can whisper sweet nothings in your dates ear, this is not the place. But the noise wasn't objectionable, at least to me, because it was the result of experiencing a delightful dining experience. Most diners were casually dressed and the staff was friendly without being cloying. The overall ambiance of Rosina strikes a perfect balance.
There is no printed menu. Our charming waitress had the many choices memorized, she took our orders without writing anything down, filled the orders flawlessly, and didn't need to ask who's eating what when she returned with the food. There were real cloth table cloths and nice cloth napkins as well as plenty of extra plates, forks, knives, and glasses. Water, both frizzante and still, were served in nice glass carafes, not the typical plastic bottle. Wine, even the house wine (they have their own label), is served in bottles opened at the table, not the usual carafe or pitcher. Nothing was pre-packaged or seemed to be pre-prepared. Yet, somehow, they managed to serve a large number of people quickly and efficiently without any fuss or bother. The staff are not only real professionals but they look as though they really enjoy their work.
In summary, if you find yourself living or visiting the Piemonte region and (like me) think it has the best of most of what Italy has to offer except for the food, you might change your mind after dining at this lovely restaurant.

Invited by a friend, after a morning hunting with our Italian bracchi, we could taste the dishes of this trattoria. All good, I could not choose what I liked the most, I repeat all good! In fact, something excited me about the SEMI-FRIDDO AL GIANDUIA, EXCEPTIONAL!

We returned after years even in the wake of the good reviews of the place. Not as it used to be, dishes no longer taken care of properly and cuisine without personality. Very overrated.
