Wood fired pizza like we have never had before. The base was crispy and tasty without being hard. The toppings tasty and unique. We shared the Mexican taco pizza and pulled pork pizza but only after a lot of discussion. The other offerings looked just...as enticing. We have traveled the world and cannot think of when we have had a better pizza. The dessert offering - pear caramel pizza was a lovely fresh way to finish our meal. The owner and staff are friendly and helped make the meal enjoyable. It was obvious that they have s strong local clientele for eat in or take away. Would totally recommend going to Jan Juc for these pizzas when you are anywhere in the area.More

I only do take away, but its one of the best pizza stores Jan Juc / Torquay, tradition wood fired pizza oven, fresh ingredients and staff who love making pizza's. The are more expensive than Dominos/etc, and slightly smaller, but taste great, and really are...in a different space to the cheap alternatives.More

We had seen the restaurants in Torquay this afternoon, and were disappointed. Fortunately the owner of the place we stayed suggested us to go here. That was realy lovely. It was simple but very good and very tasty.

Not sure if caught them on a bad day. But the 3 pizzas ordered were bad. For this experience and price. We won't return.

They are fast, friendly and very yummy. A staple of Friday night watching the footy and having a beer.

This is by far the best pizza in the Torquay / Jan Juc area. The base is crisp but nut too crisp or puffy and the ingredients are fresh and true. It is very good and we go about once every two weeks and are...never ever disappointed.More

The Cave is a small place holding about 30 in and 4 outside tables. It is cosy with relaxed atmosphere but don't expect a machine made pizza in 5 minutes. The bases for these wood fired pizza are amazingly good with crisp base but very...light any yummy edge. As for the toppings and menu ...all very fresh, local produce and most prepared in house. Check the attached menu. Between us we had 6 different pizzas and without exception, all were differently great...my favs were Prawn Star followed closely by Pulled Pork. Check the Kasundi base they make in house as an option. Is up there in the top 5 pizza places I have had in my short 60 years on the planet...reminded me of Russell's Pizza in Willunga SA...but better pizza bases.More

We have had some good pizzas, some ordinary pizzas and some excellent pizzas but what makes the pizzas here different to all others is the base. The base makes the offerings from The Cave exceptional.

We often visit this friendly little pizza restaurant in Jan Juc Victoria. Pizzas are simply awesome. Great flavourS and the wood fire adds that special touch to the amazing pizza bases. Restaurant is on the small size but has tables inside and out so you’ll...be fine. They also provide take away if you’d like to head to the beach with your pizza. We love this place it’s a gem.More
