Welcome to our 10'th season! Cozy is a family owned, roadside restaurant located in the southern part of the Long Beach area, Koh Lanta. No frills. No fine dining. But food cooked with love, passion and the best ingredients we can find, served with the ambition to give every guest a personal treatment and an overall good experience from visiting us. Please note that we don't accept credit cards, cash or prompt pay only. Our quiet terrace is not for small children, but they are still warmly welcome to our frontside. An easy 5 star review.
After visiting most of the high ranking places on Trip advisor and Google this is our favorite for several reasons. A great meny where every dish we tried was consistently good (our favorite was the Cozy burger but they were all well executed)
Add to that great craft beer, good wines and cocktails as well as a homely atmosphere and great service and you have the reason why this was our favorite Lanta restaurant.

We like to keep things uncomplicated, but still with the highest possible quality of food and service. Our location makes our little place really busy and noisy at some hours every evening - and it's a bit of a challenge sometimes to keep the nice and cozy vibe that we like our restaurant to have. The food here is superb.
If you're feeling a change from regular Thai food this place is a God send, yes it's more pricey than the regular strip restaurants but when you see and taste what is served here you'll immediately see why.
I had the mussels for starters and the lamb shank for the main, both were as good as any top notch London restaurant I've ate in.
Myself and my partner were very surprised to find this place here.

Wow - what a great dinner! We decided to go to this restaurant for the great reviews and we have not been disappointed at all. Lovely atmosphere, friendly and happy stuff and delicious food. It felt like eating your favourite dishes you remember from childhood :) Prices are definitely reasonable for the quality you get. We‘ll be back soon again!

Lovely staff & good vibe.
We stayed here for 2 nights and could not fault it. The staff are friendly and helpful, the place is immaculately clean & the bed was super comfy. We ate here the 2nd night after we had read amazing reviews. We had starters of scallops & mussels which were very tasty. Then I had chicken paneng and my partner had fish curry. His was lovely but the chicken in mine was completely inedible. The rest of the food was lovely & the staff were very accommodating in rectifying the problem. I was offered a replacement by Bamboo (he was brilliant) which I politely declined & the curry was taken from the bill which was good. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend! Thank you.

We stayed as guests in the guesthouse and tried out their restaurant/bar for breakfast and dinner. They have a small but delicious selection of breakfast items. They told us about other places close by, which have a bigger breakfast menu and we tried those out as well but in our opinion, quality wise, the breakfast availiable at Cozy was the best we had on Kho Lanta.
Dinner menu is a different case. Quite a lot to choose from with both Thai and European dishes. After 2 weeks of Thai food I was craving some western style food and oh boy did they deliver. I had a filled chicken breast with risotto and my gf tried the cozy burger with homemade fries. Both dishes were splendid and I'm not even a risotto guy...just felt a little fancy and I was not disappointed. They mix both sweet potato and normal fries, which is, I dare say, nothing short of genius! I can never choose between those two and never thought of mixing them 😳.
Everything tasted fresh and homemade.
We treated ourselves to their homemade ice cream for desert and what can I say...tasty af. Beware the chili chocolate ice cream though. It's no joke😁. Better order some other flavours as well if you can't handle the heat. I sure did.
Can't say anything about their Thai dishes but this is something to look forward to next time we visit.
You will find cheaper places to eat, sure, but Cozy wont make you bankrupt and will leave you with a full belly and a smile in your face, guaranteed.
Also, be sure to taste their Mojitos, they are seriously good.
Almost forgot to mention the good service. I always rate a restaurant not only based on their food (even though for me that's the most important part) but also on service and athmosphere. Both independently deserve a 5 star rating. Friendly, competent, quick and cozy.

I went to the Cozy Restaurant last night and I absolutely cannot fault the wine, food or service. We had scallops with belly pork and the mussels to start and it’s was handsdown some of the best shellfish I’ve eaten all over Thailand. I then had the beef tenderloin for main, this may have been the most costly thing on the menu but it’s worth every penny. The meat was tender and served with crunchy asparagus wrapped in crispy bacon, a healthy serving of potato gratin (the creamiest and succulent gratin I’ve tasted to date), and my partner shared this main with me so ordered some potato purée, it was like eating a silky light mash (GORGEOUS). I had a lovely house red with my meal which complimented all courses amazingly, followed by the attentive and smiley staff.
I pray this restaurant stays open during this difficult time so I can eat here again when I return in December!
Everyone go and give it a visit if you have the chance!

We came here one day when we wanted to eat something else than thaifood, we all ordered burgers and it was one of the best we ever had. We came back two more times and also had thai food, that was realy good too. Good food, the best cocktails and a very fun, helpfull and nice staff. We will definately come back if we go back to Long Beach.

Norwegians on vacation in Thailand, then we need to visit some Swedes;-) Amazing food, both local Thai food (Panang Curry) and the barbeque smoker (Small Combo).
We bought the Cozy beer condoms as a good memory from this place.
We were tipped about Thaiboxing this evening, so took a tuk-tuk to the thaiboxing stadium and saw a swede having his first game which he won:-)

We ordered a vegan burger and the signature Cozy burger and were both really happy with the food. You get some nice dip and onions and a lot of French fries with the burger and the burger buns are home made. The whole ambience is very cozy and a place where classic meets modern in a very island style setting.
They have a great wine selection and some nice deserts too. Next to their international cuisine, they also offer lovely smelling Thai food.
Both of the owners welcomed us in the establishment and were checking that the food was to our liking. Very lovely hosts and great hospitality.
We will definitely be back! Thanks!

We love this place. It really deserves the name ‘cozy’ and it is definitely our go-to restaurant for a nice evening out. The service is great and they offer a delicious and varied menu of European and Thai food, so there is always something for everyone. Don’t forget to order a chocolate chili truffle as a desert! 🍫

I guess everybody has his/her preference, but for us, this place didn’t live up to the hype. Our fruit shake was really flavorless. The portion for fries was too small and curry was average. Service was good though and the location and environment are also agreeable.

I'm glad to hear you liked our new location and our service but I'm sorry to hear we didn't live up to your expectations when it came to food and drinks. I wish you would have brought this to my attention, at least the fries and fruitshake sounds like something that could have been fixed easily.

We came across this little restaurant because it looked incredibly cozy from the outside (the name says it all!), the menu sounded like an interesting interpretation of Thai cuisine and, last but not least, it had incredibly good reviews - and rightly so!
You can sit comfortably inside the restaurant, but there is a beautiful terrace hidden away at the back (including mosquito spray provided).
We ordered a variation of Thai tapas (including pomelo salad, water buffalo, summer rolls) and they were... simply a delight!
And as already mentioned, Thai cuisine with a certain touch of individuality that sends the taste buds on new discoveries.
One more word about the staff: everyone was incredibly friendly, accommodating and very attentive, so that you always had time to choose, but were never forgotten.
There is live music every Friday, when the restaurant is very full and a reservation in advance is essential.
We therefore warmly and honestly recommend it.

We have our frontside restaurant, which is normally the busiest area and where Fridays livemusic is, and our backside/terrace, which is quieter. Both sides with their own characteristics. Food was ok, but the burger wasnt better than any other Ive had in Koh Lanta. Service was good, we didnt have to wait long, but waiter was too pushy, like bragging, over everything, which had the opposite impact on us. The food should speak for itself.

This is such a tiny restaurant that we drove past it twice without noticing it. (Look for the medical building beside it!) The food and service were excellent. A little higher cost than some places on Ko Lonta, but still good value. We enjoyed it all. Try the surprise cake!!
