Provided you are patient this is a great place to get fish and chips and the eat by the sea. A busy local, if you are a couple recommend the blue grenadier for two pack (save $ on chips). Need thinner potato cakes but overall...good value.More

Food here is yummy but the workers vape while cooking the food which is disgusting not ever going here again
I purchased a schnitzel burger here and the bottom of the roll was burnt black. Inedible. When I took it back the cook couldn't have cared less. Didn't even bother to apologise. The poor girl serving me was very embarrassed. First and last time here....Do yourself a favour and stay well clear of this business. There are other fish and chip shops near here that have to be better. Very disappointing service.More
VERY stingy quantity & didn't tell me to get my bottle of drink? on purpose?.. So basically payed way more than should of and experienced a bad meal so yeah...
I would like to say what lovely freshly cooked fish and chips we had today very well cooked and not greasy
It was with some joy that I returned to re-try the fish here. A grilled flake comes in a decent size, fresh, well cooked and accompanied with a lemon wedge. prices are good.
We were visiting family who wanted to visit Trawlers restaurant. We called earlier in the day to check the opening hours. The notice on the door stated they were open until 8pm, however when we turned up at 7pm it was closed. There were people eating but the...door was locked.I enquired at the takeaway counter about the timings and the young dark haired girl was very abrupt, stating the restaurant closes at 7pm even though the sign said 8pm.If the restaurant closed at 7pm they should have had a specific notice specifically for them.We were very disapointed but ended up having a fab meal at the Boot pub instead.More
Absolutely revolting food. Don’t waste you money. fish swimming in bad smelly old oil as were the chips so over cooked in old oil. Haven’t seen food cooked this bad in years. Couldn’t eat any of it and so upset to have wasted our money.
Thank you Lovely chips Good value for money too. Massive portions Just missed my mushy peas & curry sauce ( not at the same time )
I don’t know if they’ve changed hands but the last 3 times been there was so bad the chips were not even edible. What the hell happened. Will never go there again.
We ordered fish and chips here tonight and they were probably the most terrible we have ever had in Seaford. Somehow the chips were overcooked but soggy, burnt and inedible. They look like they have been sitting there for days, we ordered and were there...within 10 minutes. I’m not sure how the cook could have looked at these and thought they were ok to serve to people.More
I chose a piece of grilled flake. It was fresh, large, well cooked, and very cheap. I really could not believe my luck. Many took their food away to picnic by the sea, but I dined on the footpath tables outside the shop. There is...some good competition in the area, but this one might very well be the best.More
Whenever we spend the day at Seaford beach we grab some food from here to watch the sunset. We have tried the flake and chips, the potato cakes, the onion rings, Dim sims and battered dim sims, battered burger, and the fried Mars bar. The...battered burger and battered dim sims are delicious, and the battered Mars bars are to die for. We also tries the seafood salad last time and that was very tasty.More
Our Flake and Blue Grenadier was absolutely sensational and the chips... well, I’d thoroughly agree with other reviewers who drive past other places for them. We’ll be back and soon!!
This place is simply the best around in my opinion. Hand cut chips ,lovely fish, huge portions. If i want f&c's i will drive over 10k's to get them here........ Yummo!!!
