Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We have been going to kaiser Stubn for more than twenty years. Each visit was more than satisfying. Yesterday was a mother's day lunch and the set menu was absolutely magnificant. The owners and staff were most efficient, friendly, and showed tremendous team spirit! a...very rare combination!!!!More

Excellent food and service for my father’s 90th birthday lunch. The staff and chef could not be more accommodating. The owner even came out to wish my Dad a Happy Birthday. We have been coming here for years and have never had a bad meal...here!More

We were a little hesitant to go to Kaiser Stub’n after reading some very negative reviews. We are so happy we didn’t let these reviews stop us. We had a fabulous night, the restaurant was full and had a very happy/fun vibe. The staff were...really busy but still had time for a laugh and chat with the customers. The food was great, especially the roast duck and pork knuckle which were definitely worth venturing out for on a very cold June night … we’ll be back.More

Food was spot on. Owner's wife - crass and behaved like a complete nutcase, spewing borderline racist statements, which left us all (including my ten year old child) mortified! I'm very surprised that she's still allowed to serve customers. A pity that she had utterly...destroyed our dining experience.More

Four of us visited for a family birthday mid week, serving German and Austrian meals. Welcoming staff, parking outside restaurant, friendly and helpful meal suggestions. We enjoyed a glass of bubbly on arrival, followed by entrees of cheese Kransky, and beef soup with liver dumplings....Mains were a collection of lamb rack and pork knuckle, while my main was an entree sized crepe filled with crispy meat and leek sauce. We all enjoyed sweets, including ice cream and sauce, crème brûlée. All delicious, washed down with beautiful German Riesling. A most enjoyable evening, but please note, meals are very generous!More

The food was spot on, classic & authentic German & Austrian cuisine that was perfectly cooked. The Schnitzels are fabulous, and huge. The waiter was very good (Jamaican / German) - wheat beer on tap, perfect accompaniment. Desert was next level. Decor is stuck in...the 80s along with the folk music, but it’s all part of the charm. We really enjoyed it.More

I was taken by family to celebrate my birthday. Food was delicious, service was friendly and the whole night was great fun. I love that the chef took a moment to come to the table to check we were happy with everything despite how busy...it was. We were delighted. Thank you for a great night!More

I went here a couple of years back and did not have a good experience with the food, or service. How times have changed. Excellent menu and food last night. Fresh, and well cooked. Also interesting. Service was excellent as well. A hidden gem now.

I know things have been tuff with covid but if I am out patroniser a restaurant I don’t like feeling Iam being taken advantage of . They currently have a $50 minimal order rule . No mention is made of this when booking . Two...of the five of us only had a main course . I have been going here for years and have always found the food good and staff friendly but the surcharge has made me think twice about going back .More

Made a phone booking for 2, when we arrived we noticed a note on the table that said there is a minimum charge of $55pp due to COVID restrictions. When we enquired, the Manager was extremely rude, arrogant and speaking over the top of us...and said if we don't like it, we can leave! We were not advised when we made the booking and unfortunately had to leave as there was no way we were able to eat for that much, considering there was only 2 of us. He was rather willing to have the table left empty in his restaurant than try and accommodate us. Would not recommend this restaurant based on their sloppiness, lack of customer service and pure rudeness.More

Rating 1 star as zero is not an option. Completely disappointing visit. Booked online and received a confirmation email. Get to the restaurant and there’s no booking made. Apparently if you book online the auto generated email that says your booking is confirmed means nothing...at all. The owner is a real piece of work who needs to wake up to the current climate for hospitality and welcome/try to make things work for all customers, not yell at the front of house managed and slam menus in front of staff and customers. Here’s a hint. Get a proper booking system that actually confirms bookings properly and don’t have a childish rant. I’ve been to this restaurant on more occasions then I can remember but this is definitely the last time I’ll be giving you a single cent. You made my partner and I feel as though we did the wrong thing and booked online, even though apparently there was no booking and you had no room for us. Maybe try using opentable or the fork for your reservations and you won’t lose your customers. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY AT THIS RESTAURANT.More

This place really needs to go to customer service classes, Especially the owner. We booked a table for 2 for 6:30pm, got an email confirmation. We turn up and get told that there is no table/ room for us and that the email confirmation is...auto generated and doesn’t mean your booking is confirmed. (Well maybe you should update your website if this is the case) Not only the disappointment of being let down the owner acts like a complete pork chop yelling and banging things in front of a full restaurant making a scene like we did something wrong. Been here many times and never have experience anything like this although moving forward I wouldn’t waste your time with this restaurant especially if this is the type of service the “owner” provides.More

Eight of us enjoyed an outstanding meal and ride a variety of main course. We started with the delicious langos, a fried bread with garlic and sour cream. The mains we enjoyed included the Vienna schnitzel with an excellent potato salad, the roasted duck, the...pork knuckle and the chicken breast with mango sauce. We ordered two lots of an outstanding dessert of baked ricotta cheese pancakes.More
