Food is amazing, dessert tiny

We stopped for lunch here as one of our group of friends recently moved locally. The atmosphere was pleasant, though the waitress was a bit intense about the fact that we seated ourselves and didn't wait for her to come and seat us. We were the only ones there at the time and we didn't see any sign asking customers to wait. Our mains were all delicious and fresh tasting. Service was very prompt and efficient. I was one of two in our group that had dessert. I had mandarin & almond Cake, Lime Curd, Lemon Myrtle Powder & Pistachio’s, it cost $10 and was tiny. Not good value. Luckily the scoop of ice cream filled it out. Mine was tiny.

What an Unlikely Gem

I must admit when my friend wanted to take me here I was a bit hesitant. This area is not known for its culinary delights. However, this lovely restaurant in its beautiful setting is going to up its profile. It is situated within the Arts Centre which is also worth a visit. It is a nice big space with covered outdoor space. The waitress made sure we were well looked after. Complimentary bread & oil/vinegar was supplied with water as soon as we were settled. The menu is divided into meat & vegetarian which is very helpful. It is not a huge menu but it is a very interesting one. My friend chose the chicken & I chose a vegetarian choice. Both were excellent. The vegetarian choice was like a work of art. The sorbet affogato for dessert was delicious. It is licensed & reasonably priced. I loved the bread so much that I asked for a loaf before departure & they obliged. Would return in a heartbeat even though I live 50 minutes away

Top class food in an interesting location.

Had dinner here recently, the service staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was a real surprise. It was a 2-course dinner menu for $49pp. They have a Carnivore or Vegetarian entre which includes 4 different offerings so you get to try a variety of brilliant flavours. We went with the Carnivore but also received a delicious artichoke soup from the Vegetarian side of things. For main, Riverina Grain Fed Beef Fillet, Mushroom Duxelle, Enoki Mushroom & Jus. Couldn't fault it. The sides were perfectly matched. Overall, couldn't fault the meal which was better than many I've had in the CBD. We were too full to try any desserts.

WHAT A LITTLE GEM

I was reluctant to write this review as I would like to keep this little gem a secret, however, when you find something as unexpectedly special as this and it already has great reviews, you need to compliment the people involved. This was my first time at this wonderful little piece of paradise and i was very pleasantly surprised. My friends took me there for lunch recently and I had one of the best food and service experience I have had for quite a while. The food was expertly prepared and delicious - the pork belly was probably one of the best I think I have ever had - the creme brulee was absolute perfection. Rosy our server was wonderful, friendly, professional and extremely obliging. I had the pleasure of talking to Head Chef Frederico after our meal and thanked him for the excellent experience. His experience ranges from working at Michelin Star restaurants in Europe to Hatted restaurants in Australia , it was so nice to meet a Chef that is humble and joyful . As i come from a supposed to be "fine dining" region of NSW this was truly a great experience in the middle of Liverpool that is a Council run venue with a terrific team. My compliments and congratulations to Frederico, Rosy, Sanje, Steven and Jack for a very nice experience.

amazing canapes

Work function yesterday in outdoor section with premium canapes: everything delicious with salmon and the sliders a special highlight. Staff super-friendly and super-tolerant - could not have done more to make us feel welcome. Excellent sparkling water on tap. Brilliant coffee and lots of tea offerings. Best end of year get together ever!

Well worth the drive, for this amazing hidden gem.

A little bit of a secret near Liverpool, tucked away in the powerhouse arts centre. An urban chic fit out with pleasant garden views to the river. The food is what makes it worth the journey. An interesting and changing menu always featuring some produce from their personal garden. The pork belly is a personal favourite. Friendly helpful staff, reservations are recommended and it can get busy over the weekend.

My little find

Found this on our walk to Leacock walking track. So went there last night for a fine dining experience. $ 55 pr person and was impressed. Went with my hubby and teenage boys. Food was lip smacking and atmosphere was quite and relaxing. This is a place you would have to otherwise drive to the CBD. Not something you would expect from Casula. So agree a hidden gem. Staff was friendly and provided good customer service. It’s a 2 course menu so does not include dessert. Next will visit for a a breakfast and lunch to experience al-a-carte.

Truly a hidden gem

Celebrated my husbands 70th with family last night and found the venue, service and especially the food, excellent. The Starters were delicious and there was a lovely variety of exciting mains to choose from - also delicious! Even the sides of broccolini and Brussel sprouts were outstanding. The kids also enjoyed looking at the aviation display in the Powerhouse complex. Thank you Bellbird for a lovely night.

Culinary Delight

Incredible food served in fantastic setting. Clean fresh air and the sound of Bell Birds in the background. A very relaxing way to enjoy A la Carte food prepared by brilliant chefs. Service is fast and friendly. Located next to the Georges River in the restored Casula Powerhouse with a view of many huge riverside trees. There is a picturesque walk beside he river and the Casula Powerhouse is full of interesting art works. The perfect place for a regular visit.

Now Open For Dinner Dining

We have just discovered Bellbird, and WOW!! The service is great, fantastic atmosphere and to complete the trifecta, amazing food!! I had the beef and was expecting the disappointment of not getting rare. Wrong, it was amazing. My partner had the trout which,although not shared, was apparently the same. Can not recommend Bellbird highly enough.

Third time just as good.

Third time just as good. Really is a fantastic place. Beautiful food with fresh herbs and vegetables from their garden. All members of my group were impressed. Lovely service. Has thought carefully about what customers want and have got it right 100%!

Great location, atmosphere and food.

We'd been there for lunch before, just the two of us. Went back this time for a special occasion lunch for six and were delighted with the experience. Beautifully different menu, comprehensive wine list, and wonderful service. The food was excellent, and our table outside under the awning was well positioned. I would recommend this venue to anyone as a delightful dining experience. It's made even better when they have art exhibitions on from time to time, but sadly nothing to see this time around.
