Our family has been coming to Eastham for 20+ years. The Friendly Fisherman is our #1 choice for fried seafood and lobster rolls. The layout is very basic. Picnic tables, order and pick up at windows. But they have consistent quality year after year. The Fisherman's Platter is an unbelievable amount of food for 2-3 people with a sample of... More

We chose Friendly Fisherman's at the suggestion of a friend who lives nearby. It happened to be the only day in months for a real, soaking rain on the Cape. This was unfortunate, because the parking lot developed immense, deep puddles which were nearly impossible to step around. Also, since the restaurant only has port-a-potties, we had to go outside... Very good lobster roll. Quite big and very little mayo. The slice of romaine looks nice, but toss it aside -- it makes the sandwich difficult to eat, and detracts from the taste of the lobster. $20 for a lobster roll is resort pricing, but I really did enjoy it.

Casual outdoor dining, order at the window and food is delivered to your table. Ate here with extended family including kids aged 12 and under. I was very impressed with the big chunks of lobster in the lobster rolls--just lobster and a little mayo. Only one little hitch, one of our group ordered cocktail shrimp but fried shrimp was delivered... More

My wife and I were looking for the quintessential lobster shack meal of fried clams and a lobster roll. We had eaten here before, but not for a few years, so we decided to try them again. Service was quick and efficient, the food however was decidedly average. I ordered a whole belly clam roll. I got an empty grilled... More

Having just visited, I think the reviews for this place are a little overly enthusiastic. The lobster roll truly was good. Lots of lobster, not smothered in mayo. Other dishes were also pretty good. The soups (clam chowder and lobster bisque) were pretty bland. Disappointing for a restaurant whose website brags about the culinary training of its owner. The real... More

We had googled this place as one to get a great lobster roll and it was!! We had a great lobster roll that is served with French fries. It was a great price for a great meal. It has a nice small area to eat outside which is great for kids.

We enjoyed a tasty lunch of lobster rolls and fries. Then, we went right next door to pick up fresh scallops, which we brought home and cooked later. The scallops were obviously quite fresh, local, and extremely good!
