We got the seafood platter and we’re not disappointed. It was fresh and delicious. The staff were super friendly and when we couldn’t finish it all they gave us bags and ice packs to take it home 100% will definitely go back again

2 mums and 5 teenage boys enjoyed our lunch today. It was fast, fresh, cooked perfectly. We ordered Standard fish and chips, crumbed barramundi and fisherman's basket. Sorry no photos. Food got destroyed. 😀 Staff/owners were lovely. Looked like a family business.

Excellent cooked seafood I had the lunch pack which contained large fish cocktails, calamari & 2 crumbed prawns plus a generous serving of chips. Hubby had fish and chips We both enjoyed our meals. They were well cooked in quality oil. Very tasty and enjoyable. There is an undercover area to eat in which was very clean. Staff were very friendly. Located opposite the train Station Definitely recommend

Tucked away opposite Hawkesbury Station entrance quite good sit down or takeaway seafood options. Service friendly, food well cooked but bit pricey. $25 for fish grilled and small chips. Equivalent at our local shop is $15. But you are out of SYDNEY and near the water so it’s the experience!

We had the seafood basket, lovely & fresh seafood with delicious chips. It was a large serve. Fast friendly service. We had take away. They do close on the early side. Highly recommend.

Went there midweek for lunch. Chips overcooked, calamari overcooked and almost burned. Fish was pretty good. Can’t do the basics.

The Chips were perfectly crisp on the outside, and a great fluffy baked potato flavour on the inside! The oysters lovely and tasty, while the Calamari was Tender with crispy coated crumbs! I have to add I have never come across any other place that sells oysters that does them deep fried! This is the first time in Australia, I have had the ones at Granville Island in Vancouver, where I was first introduced to them.

Made an impromptu stop in Brooklyn on the way back from the Central Coast and stumbled into this fish and chip shop across from the station. Food was fresh and delicious and service was excellent! Highly recommended for families.

Took my motorbike group there and they seemed to enjoy it. Food good and well priced. Service pretty quick. Compact shop and outside eating area in shade - very pleasant. Sunday would be most difficult day as even hard to park a motorbike anywhere in the area.

Some car friends suggested a drive to Cowan on a Monday for fish and chips which sounded fun. Great opportunity to give one of the cars a run. Its not really a long drive. Take the Berowra turn off and head down to Cowan. This is just opposite the railway station. We sat out the back and ordered some oysters, prawns, flathead and chips for 8 of us. The oysters and prawns were very fresh. the chips were sensational. The fish was delightful. There is seating for a few people. The girl serving the tables was great. Its not a restaurant in the conventional sense but its a bloody good fish and chip shop. Bit of a gem!

Popped in here today on a family day out. We caught the train from Wyong to Hawkesbury Station. Came across this fish and chip shop as we walked out of the station. We were not expecting much as it just appeared to be a shop front but we were pleasantly surprised. Lovely little covered courtyard with 5-6 large tables. We ordered our food and it was delivered to our table. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. Between us all, we had chips, fish, calamari, and prawns. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

Nine of us (5 adults & 4 children) caught the train down to the Hawkesbury River today, from the Central Coast - just for a day trip and a look around. Came across this little place while walking around and decided we would have lunch. Service was fast. Undercover seating at the side and more than enough seating. Cold water and cups supplied. We had a range of food including fresh tiger prawns, prawn roll, chips, scallops, fish and calamari, ALL of which were lovely and fresh. Food was brought out quickly. The prawns in particular were delicious. Large serves and well presented food. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a meal here on a lazy Sunday arvo. Staff were all very friendly too.

Noticed a good waiting crowd after walking past this place from the train station. After going to the pub and seeing the good Sunday patronage I opted to try fitzies. I Ordered the flathead fillets with no chips and just salad and a half a dozen Sydney rock oysters. Total cost, 36$ After tasting the fish I realised that it was definitely not flat head and was very Average for 36 bucks. I did like the tables to the left of the service area where I sat and had real stainless steel knives and forks and washed it down with the small bottles of sav blanc I got from the marina bottle shop. Tip ( after you order the fish while you are waiting) walk 2 min to bottle shop and then left hand side of fitzies to dine..... Cheers Ps less time wait especially on a Sunday.

Spotted this place he I arrived for my lunch cruise. Checked it out while waiting for my train and I was not disappointed. Service was amazing, menu pricing was very reasonable. I ordered a piece of battered hoki, salad and 2 seafood sticks, no chips$16. It was delicious. Lovely atmosphere out in the seating area. Very tidy and well maintained, good range of seating. Complimentary water. I would highly recommend this eating place.
