When the locals eat at a restaurant you know it has to be good. We are locals and we regularly eat at Bistro C. It has great views of the beach and Laguna Bay so the food is almost secondary. However if you are looking for somewhere to have breakfast, look no further. The breakfasts are excellent, extremely generous in... More

Lucked out - called past about 11 on way back from beach and booked a table for two for lunch. They said the beachside tables were already booked, but when we arrived for lunch we got one outside, just one table back from the boardwalk. Great! After an entree from the daily specials, we tucked into a Hot Pan of... More

Professional enough to make the evening run smoothly but not too much to ruin the friendly atmosphere. Whenever I go to Noosa, I always go to Bistro C, for the food, the view and the friendly vibe. There a men in thongs (shoes) and babies in prams but it's still a special occasion place. Be sure to get a table... More

Celebrated three birthdays and a wedding anniversary there one night so it had to be special and it was. Shared the special seafood deluxe- cold entree and seafood in tomatoes as the main. So good! Others had the seafood pasta which is always delicious. A great night of celebration with food that did not disappoint.

On a recent family trip to Noosa we had a late breakfast at Bistro C. The meals were amazing, friendly staff and great coffee. We were a group of 9 adults and 2 children and had to wait a while to be seated as you can't book for breakfast but was worth the wait. Between us we tried a variety... More

Been here twice now and it's still a nice inviting feel when you walk in with the bar and dinning area with the ocean view. Food service size and prices are average but typically with its location feel and look that's what you're really paying for. Was better 2 years ago.

A friend recommended Bistro C for lunch on our day visit to Noosa. We were happy to get a table as a walk in - they were extremely busy Saturday afternoon. We started with Bistro C's "famous calamari", as it was listed on the menu, to share along with chibata bread with garlic mashed into oil. For a small serving... More

I booked Friday night dinner based on nearly 5 star rating on TripAdvisor. Disappointed. First, we could not find parking for nearly 40 min.( we nearly cancelled the reservation). Second, we sat on plastic chairs and tables with prices for the food and wine to match top restaurants. Third, very noisy. We could not hear each other. Then we waited... More

It is disappointing to read this review and realise what a vast contrast in service we experienced last Sunday for lunch at Bistro C. We made the reservation as soon as we arrived on Wednesday 8/7 for Sunday lunch 1:30pm and at this stage there were on 3 names in the book. I requested a nice table at the front with a view which was noted. We arrived on the Sunday and was greeted by a waiter with blonde hair, he took us to our table bypassing the bar to check with a female Manager where it was best to seat myself, my mother and 6 year old daughter. In their table number code it sounded like they were trying to see if they could get away with a very basic table, some four rows back from the view. He pointed to the average table but I noticed two spare tables on the front window and I said, we did request a window table, so he lifted the menus and showed us to a better table in the front right corner. Awkward start. Then we had a waitress who took our orders but never returned to top up our wine or refill our water the whole time. I ordered the hot pan Asian Seafood main and it was placed on a table board opposite my chair at the spare seat, with a random waitress delivering it and saying, please be careful it's hot. So my mother had to lift awkwardly a heavy cast iron pan in a strange angle, while I grabbed the board to my side of the table. We finished our meals which were very good but had to endure another 25 mins of dirty plates in front of us before we were asked if we wanted dessert. We actually were planning on having desserts but were so disappointed with everything that we decided we would go elsewhere in Hastings Street for dessert. So we asked for the bill and it arrived abruptly on the corner of our table with no eye contact as she filled water glasses at the table to our left. We just couldn't believe the second class service. We were really looking forward to it but wished we had booked Sails instead for our last meal in a Noosa. Berardo's on the beach dinner the night before was so much better. Royal Service pffft not for us. I think the place is too big for it's boots now! The staff need to get over themselves. Bistro F.
