We had ‘View’ on our list of various possible lunch spots for our one day (unfortunately only one day!) in Noosa and had planned just to ‘wing it’ and see what looked the best on the day, ideally wanting a seafood lunch. We were VERY...naive, not realising how out of control the number of people and cars banked up in traffic would be! So when we realised that ‘winging it’ wasn’t going to be our best bet and found ourselves fairly close to Peppers, we rang them and grabbed a table and, thankfully, a car park on site. View might not have delivered us a seafood platter but we were pretty impressed with the value for money we received. They do a two course lunch with ‘proper’ coffee and a glass of wine for $35 and we couldn’t really complaint. The rose wine was absolutely fine (always a bit of a worry when you just see a listing of ‘red, white, rose or sparkling house wine’ (in this case de Bortoli) as your options!!) but it did the trick. The tempura batter on the snapper main course was good and the lamb ‘briks’ and prawn gyoza both were tasty enough little starters (mind you, although we didn’t really need any more, ‘little’ is they key word there!). It’s extremely casual but decent enough value as mentioned, but the strange thing is that View has no.....view. There must be some view from some tables though since they advertise ‘....Here guests are treated to a spectacular panorama over Noosa and beyond....’ but sadly we didn’t get the benefit of it!!More

Our visit to View today was fantastic on all levels. The service was great, pleasant staff, the food was wholesome and plentiful and the atmosphere was relaxed. The menu special deal is very worthwhile and I would certainly recommend to others. We will be back....Thank you to Matt and staff.More

My wife and I were given a $150 gift voucher for this restaurant by our son last Xmas. When we looked at a menu we realised we would not spend all this for a lunch sitting so we went into the restaurant 3 days before...our date to book and specifically asked if we would retain credit for the unused amount on the voucher, The response was yes. We enjoyed a fabulous lunch today; prawn gyoza, falafel, soba noodles with duck and pork chimichanga. Imagine our dismay when the very friendly, attentive wait staff said thank you and goodbye without returning our voucher. When we queried this they went away to check and came back very embarrassed to say that ACCOR policy is that there is no retention of unused voucher value. We attempted to follow up with the manager but he couldn't or wouldn't see us. His staff were all sympathetic and gave us a couple of bottles of wine as a consolation. This is strange if not illegal policy. Nowhere on the voucher did it say that unused value would be forfeited. Seriously, who would waste nearly half the value of a gift voucher!?More

What a hidden gem this is! We’ve just enjoyed a fabulous 2 course lunch with a glass of wine and coffee for just $32 per head. The food, service and ambience were all exceptional, with everyone agreeing it was the best value dining they’ve had...in a long time. My pulled lamb shoulder was melt in the mouth tender and my husband’s tempura snapper was a generous size and perfectly cooked. We will certainly be back with a bigger group next time.More

Such value for superb food, awesome location, caring staff and ambience. Great care and attention of a delightful lunch with beautifully proportioned flavours. The slow cooked lamb was served warm with a salad, similar with the Bendele duck and soba noodles. We shared entree of...prawn gyozu - just the perfect size with some chilli oil. The meal was finished with perfectly baked apple and raisin tart. I think the vanilla custard was every bit if not better than what my grandmother made from scratch. Hard to find. As locals, what an absolute treat to find and we will return. Thank you Matt and your team, a wonderful addition to Noosa.More
