Just finished the Beef Cheeks on Polenta. Absolutely first class! Will now finish my wine. This is definitely worth a visit.

Excellent Platter and tasting plates, with excellent wine in really beautiful surroundings. Sat with the dog on the patio under the vine. Just what you hope an afternoon on a wine farm will be like.
If you are in the area, this is a great place to visit for lunch or dinner. The establishment is in a very attractive location, which you can enjoy through the expansive windows within the venue. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The food is...superb - relying on fresh local produce of very high quality. I was fortunate to visit during the region’s “Truffle Kerfuffle” weekend in June. 2023, and one of the featured ingredients during our visit were the local truffles. Besides the regular menu, they had a series of special items, featuring both local seasonal produce and the local truffles. The hospitality offered was exceptional, with knowledgeable and friendly staff who were excellent ambassadors for the establishment - they really did convey a sense of pride in what they are doing. The highlights for me were the marrow bisque and the steak - both were exceptional. Highly recommended!More
Visited on a busy Easter Sunday but the food and service was excellent! Lucky I booked as they must of turned over 30 people away .
We had one of the best meals from cocktails to mains and dessert. Excellent setting and service. Well worth a visit Rob and Susie
We were in Pemberton and it’s honestly bit challenging on finding resto for lunch. Looking for some review, and found Hidden River Estate. Made phone call for lunch reservation, came to the resto. We got a premium spot of the hillview which really enjoyable. We...ordered crispy skin barramundi and cheese board, also macaroni cheese and nugget and fries for the kids. Food really tasty. And it’s closed with the wine tasting. Well spend afternoon in Pemberton.More
We were seated outside with the pup, the staff offered us blankets as it was cold…..brilliant idea. The staff were great, service brilliant. Wine tasting well needless to say very nice. Food cooked to perfection. A little pricey, but for the food, wine and service...we didn’t mind. A must is the bubbles….More
For such a large booking, around 30 of us, we were very happy to be accommodated. We were certainly a handful with late comers, a full table of 20 odd rowdy kids, not to mention the thirsty adults, but these guys were unflappable. The lovely...waitress Chloe, I think it was, was calm and smiled her way through. Then the food came out, we didn’t have to wait long, everyone’s meal was exceptional. The duck nachos, beef cheeks, cabbage dish and my beet cous cous salad were amazing. Then they even let us pay separately 😱 Amazing!!! Thoroughly recommend. Thanks guys. We raved, amongst ourself and to anyone in town (Manji) about you guys for the rest of our trip!More
Visited this week during a wet day. Had some food which was nice and place was dog friendly. Sat outside but blankets were provided.
We had a beautiful leisurely lunch at this restaurant on Thursday 30th June. Views were magnificent but the food was to die for. First off we had a free wine tasting at our table. Staff were brilliant when we explained we wanted to savour the...food and not be rushed. We shared the starter of asparagus and haloumi with a smidgen of rose syrup, followed by a mains of salmon for my friend and the rabbit dish for myself. We indulged ourselves in the desserts. Throughout our time there the staff were friendly, very professional and attentive without being pushy. We would like to congratulate the chefs for a fantastic meal and would thoroughly recommend that you visit this suburb restaurant which to my mind is a 'hidden gem'. Thank you for a great experience.More
The staff were obviously under the pump and were still fantastic but the table next to us had children who were loud, playing and silly. I understand that kids will be kids but we are paying $50 plus for an amazing meal and don’t want...to feel like I’m at the McDonalds playground…More
This winery has stunning views and a pet friendly restaurant making it easier for the ones travelling with the pooch. For entree we had white anchovies, light and delicious, and for main, slow cooked beef cheeks gnocchi . Very friendly staff and an overall pleasant...experience.More
We visited Hidden River for lunch yesterday whilst on a Sunday drive from Busselton. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we found a seat inside with a view of the lake and orchards on the hill. Reading the menu I must say everything...sounded delicious and to be honest it would want to be for the prices! My partner ordered the slow cooked beef cheeks while I ordered the pulled pork rigatoni. Tastings are done at your table so we tasted a couple of wines and decided on a bottle of their merlot which was lovely. The unwooded chardonnay was very nice also. The meals arrived and were well presented and looked delicious, however both dishes lacked flavour. With the pulled pork I was expecting it would have been marinated in some yummy flavours that would shine through in every bite but sadly the only flavoursome part of this dish was the apple mint tumeric salad, which was delicious. We added pepper to try and enhance the dishes. If I went back I would probably just go for the wine and maybe try a share plate or a dessert.More
Amazing venue, brilliantly hospitable staff and most importantly beautiful food. Generous serves and wonderful flavours.
We had a really great meal from an adventurous menu. We can recommend the grilled asparagus, the falafels, beef cheeks and rabbit and mushrooms. The portion of the rabbit was quite small but the mushrooms were tasty. Deserts were good but very sweet. There is...plenty of parking but lighting there is not good and someone ran into my car in the dark. I believe the restaurant is accessible by wheel chair, although we did not see the toilets.More
