Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Amazing service from “Felicity” from Miami Bakehouse on Forrest hwy. The store was very busy, she was cranking out coffees, but noticed I was waiting at a til that was unsupervised. Apologised for the wait with a smile, and then multitasked to serve me while...making coffees. Food average. But good service will always bring me back. Popular too, so I assume the coffees are good.More

Called in to grab a late lunch to go following an early afternoon business meeting. Granted it was 2.30pm and only slim pickings left in the warmer of half a dozen pies and one vegetarian pastie. I chose the pastie and was slightly taken aback...when the till rang up $7.80. Never mind I thought, the MBH is well known for quality so the $7.80 will be money well spent. Wrong, the pastie if you could call it that was crunchie, no not just the pastry but the innards as well. Seriously guys if you're charging a premium based on your reputation and going to sell something mid afternoon that's been in the warmer all day then at least offer a disclaimer and make it half price. What I had was akin to a home brand pastie that had been in my freezer for 6 months and was nuked for 5 minutes too long.More

I took my 2.5 year old Son here while we were waiting for his Doctor appointment a few doors down. He’d been sick but wanted a chocolate cup cake. He hadn’t eaten much for days but was smashing his cupcake. He was only about four...bites in when he dropped it on the floor. The very helpful lady behind the counter who had been talking to him offered him a new one free of charge. I offered to pay but she insisted. His face lit up. We are customers for life now 😀More

After staying in Falcon for one night on our way home for holidays decided to stop in the Miami Bakehouse to pick up something for lunch once we got home The baked goods all looked great, and we decided on the Leek and Bacon quiche...What a disappointment, we struggled the find any substantial trace of either leek or bacon. It was pretty much tasteless. Essentially it was more like a egg pie as there was no other flavour to speak of. Given their reputation and price you pay we expected far better. Very disappointed, wouldn’t rush back based on that experienceMore

Absolutely beautiful food but prices are up there. Wow! Service inside was OK. We have a high peanut allergy friend with us and we watched the staff serve his vanilla slice after handing the chocolate hedgehog (full of nuts) - we had to ask for...a new vanilla slice with a clean set of tongs. My wife’s coffee missed and we asked for a refund of money as everyone else had finished and we were leaving. The older lady who did the refund was nothing short of surly. She then went outside and berated a family for moving two tables together to seat their group of eight. Sorry guys, you may win gold medals for your food, but some of your staff really let you down!More

We live way past Manjimup, and have been travelling to Perth quite a lot recently. Before the Forrest Highway was opened, we always stopped at the Miami Bakery in Falcon. We have driven past the southbound bakery in West Pinjarra, a few times and yesterday,...because we had time on our hands, we we went in. I expected the pies to be cost more than the average, because in the past the pies were of a premium quality. I had a garlic prawn pie ($12), my wife a steak pie ($7.40). The pies presented well, crisp pastry. I bit into my pie and could not taste any garlic, the pie had plenty of prawns (about 8), the filling was a white sauce made with butter, flour and milk?, but no garlic. The flour had not been cooked out of the sauce, There was raw flour in the base of the pie. My wife's steak pie, looked as if it had been in the warmer for to long, the meat had shriveled up, and the gravy was dry. We don't mind paying for a premium product, but this was Fred's caff type of thing. Why didn't I complain, there and then. Well we had our little dog with us, and we couldn't take it into the service station, so we drove about 35 klms down the road to eat. We also had 2 coffees which were excellent. I'm sorry but I couldn't recommend this business.More

I have been a regular customer for about 4 years now. I have seen a gradual decline in the quality and service over the past 12 months. I didn't mind paying extra for a quality item. However lately they are always sold out of the...Chunky Steak, and several other varieties. I recently purchased a sausage roll, but feel I would have got a better one from the local servo. My wife got a pastie, She commented that it was extremely salty, extremely dry and generally inedible. The staff were friendly but a bit slow in attending to customers. I see that Jesters is opening soon in Miami Plaza. They are not my first choice but I think that Miami Bakehouse have now lost me as a customer.More
