We came here on a Friday night so it was quite busy. We were served promptly and the meal came out in the expected amount of time. We had the surf and turf (I think it had oysters with the meat) and the kangaroo with...More

I was very disappointed with this pub, I ordered a Pie Floater and what I got was a pie on top of mashed potatoes, $16 was an expensive pie, I also ordered calamari and got charged $12.99 for about 8-9 pieces of soggy squid. Very...More

We lunched with a friend from Adelaide yesterday and had a mixed experience. As we are not locals, it's been about 15 years since we last went to The Como and things have changed markedly. The decor in the bar is interesting, but not exactly...More

I like the restaurant because they have a big and vintage space. The food is good, but it can be better. The service needs to improve a lot. The highlight is the dessert! All of the desserts are very good!

If you are looking for a nice place to enjoy a casual lunch, The Como ticks all the boxes. Convenient location, good parking, flat surface for taking those who find steps and stairs difficult and to top it all off top quality food. My recent...More

Brilliant atmosphere here and ambience. Very relaxed and just a great place to catch-up fora social get together over drinks. Really liked the food here also and there's a bottle shop right next door to get reasonably priced takeaways for home. Defiantly recommend this hotel.

I have been going to The Como for a number of years and have decided that I probably wont be going again. The service is not a patch on earlier times, the bar is average and the food though enjoyable, does not represent value any...More

The Como -- originally the Como Hotel -- has been around for along time, since 1939 in fact. It's famous for its food. It's good, hearty Australian fare. You will get a table without much trouble during the week, but bookings are advisable on the...More

We managed to get a table without a reservation on Saturday evening (that was great), ordered our meal, but the steak was disappointing. Ordered it to be cooked 'medium', it arrived bleeding in the middle and well done on the edges, tough and chewy overall!...More

Description
Established around the turn of the century, this original hotel became a landmark in and around South Perth and the Southern Suburbs. It always has been known for its art deco style and its straight forward pub approach and is greatly popular with locals and visitors alike. Less than 5 minutes drive from the city, The Como Hotel has become one easy reachable destination for friends and family to come and experience great food and excellent service. The Como Hotel has built its own reputation as a pub with a difference, catering for the needs of a wide cross section of the community - we lead the way in the provision of food, beverage and service in a retro and different style.
