We were served by the very efficient and friendly Connie. Our meals were delicious and the vibe of the place was great. A stand out in Albany!

Stayed in most of the shoeboxes and found the perfect room. Comfy bed and pillow. Hotel oozes character, a few leadlight windows, high ceilings, wide skirtings and super clean bathroom. Urban retro hotel with awesome food. Great place to stay regularly.

Food does not match the vibe. Every thing was deep fried and pricey for pretty average food. Staff were great, wouldn’t return in a hurry.

This place has a good atmosphere and amazing food which was hard to fault. The only reason i gave this 4 and not 5 stars was because i believe the food was too expensive for the size or how much you got.

We came for a later lunch so decided to do more tapas style with calamari and pork belly. They were both lovely but I feel the whole restaurant is slightly overpriced. Inside is full of indoor plants which is so nice, and outside there is...a nice area to sit and look over the bay itself Good spot to stop for a drinkMore

We didn’t have a reservation but were able to be seated in a nice area of the pub. Our food was delicious. The pork belly is to die for & can’t recommend that highly enough. The food service was excellent however the drinks were really...slow (2 beers & red wine) as we ordered them the same time as our meal but they didn’t arrive to our table until we had nearly finished. Staff were very friendly & I would definitely go back there againMore

Not much is opened in Albany on a Sunday evening for dinner so our choices were pretty limited. We opted for this pub restaurant which was a short walk from our accommodation. There were no normal tables available so we opted for the high table...located just inside the door that opened onto the back outside area. The door was kept ajar and an uncomfortable cool breeze flowed and with it noise from a 'function' just outside. The manager (very officiously) refused our request to close the door and if we had other choices available closeby we would have left this establishment. However Cherie our waitress saved the day with her very helpful and professional service. My wife ordered small portions of the arancini balls and the squid - okay but far too much. The 3 arancini balls while delicious were almost the size of tennis balls rather than the normal golf ball size. This was a meal in itself and certainly not small in serving. We took 2 home in a doggy bag. I had the beef rib nachos again a massive serve. Very tasty but why do pubs feel the need to produce massive servings as if one hasn't eaten for a week. Maybe pubs should think about normal sized servings at a slightly lower price. Patrons might just order sweets if they had room left in their stomach. Just a thought but what would I know?More

My friend & I went for dinner Saturday night. Not normally pub goers so we were very pleased with our night. Amazing staff - wish they name tags on so I could name them. They were all so friendly & eager to please even though...it was super busy. Both of our meals were amazing & the desserts to die for. Wish we could come more often but it is a long drive🤓More

We had dinner here with another couple. We ordered at the same time, but the meals were brought out 40mins apart, so as we were finishing up their 2 tapas plates came out!
