Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Couldn't believe our serving portion we paid $20 for the Salt & Pepper Squid along with $18 for the Tastes like Chicken. Five days prior we had the exact same meals which was enough to fill both of us , not this time . When...I mentioned this to one of the staff we were offered chips and told depending on the chief of the day determines what you get portion size. Not good enough these were shared meals off the menus , left HUNGRY shame on youMore

Sadly, we will no longer recommend 6D to friends who visit Albany. It feels as if the kitchen has taken a change of direction (late November). The menu has been cut with not even a chicken option on carbonara, only one size steak which is...not of great quality, very dry coleslaw (great salads and the most amazing steak used to be the drawcard here) Service is still good but it is now just a barely average, yet pricey pub mealMore

We came for a wine/Beer, edgy setting with music on a few screens which was nice. Seating inside and outside. We only had two dishes both were very good. The Squirdward and the Bulgogi tacos.

We ordered the arancini balls and bao buns, and a burger and they were all delicious. Finished with coffees and hot chocolates - hot enough (to make places serve luke warm coffee yum). And all reasonably priced - would definately visits again

Really disappointing meal. The spring rolls tasted like old oil. The fish special - snapper with garlic butter potatoes, ribboned vegetables and a buerre blanc sauce was literally swimming in a pool of butter drowning the whole meal and the sauce. The fat boy burger...lacked flavour and was a soggy mess that fell apart. We had heard good things but I definitely wouldn't recommend or return.More

Fabulous food and a great wine list. We enjoyed the special of the night ‘Duck L’Orange’ and a local Pinot Noir, as well as sticky date for desert. A bit noisy and busy but it was a Friday night.

Excellent value and location. Good meals, excellent breakfast in the bar and friendly capable staff. Clean with basic facilities. Room is very small but functional with fridge and TV. Close to theatres and bars. Tea, coffee kettle and toaster in small communial kitchen. Good hot...showers. There is live music most weekends, so don't expect a quiet sleep before 11pm, earplugs provided! Not a negative for us, nice to hear live music.More

Hit and miss! Been for lunch and amazing, Dinner however wasn't the best. We ordered an entree of oysters and it came out at the same time as our mains. The oysters werent the best, one of the Mains was worse...ordered a steak sandwich and...it was full of fat and I've had much better for less cost . The shark however was amazing and worth the money!More
