I’m a great lover of good old fashioned pubs and the Nash fits the bill. It’s not the dirty old dive it used to be. The new owners have cleaned up the joint and the meals are consistent and good. Their home made Kiev is...More
Very quiet when arrived & thought it a bad omen, but were very welcomed by Proprietor, who directed us to dining room. Bain marine looked good, well stocked with choice of 6 hot vegs including crispy roast potatoes plus salad bar. Good variety of choices...More
Food was ok but one very thin slice of roast pork is not a meal. NB photo taken before veg buffet. Not what you'd expect from a country pub where serves are usually generous.
Had a lovely meal. It included vegetable & salad bars. Also had a lovely wine. It was all great value & we enjoyed ourselves very much.

Don't be put off by the aged decor & slightly gruff bar man. Stopped here for lunch - $10 club-style meals (roast & vegies), warm fire & even a change table in the ladies loo for the baby. Very happy to have found this pub...More
Wow! What an amazing night shared by everyone who came along. The live Band named Sands & Lards involved the whole crowd and had everyone rocking to some classic music. I believe that they will be back at Easter Time, keep your eyes out on...More
