Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Came here due to the many positive reviews. Started out at a table the size of a pizza pan but were able to be moved to a larger table before we got our food. We had some cool drinks. I had a blood orange gin...spritz and my wife had a Down She Goes Beer and they were both excellent. We shared a rocket and parmesan salad with balsamic dressing. We got two pizzas - A four cheese pizza and a Capriccrosa pizza which had hams olives and mushrooms. They were both very tasty. The bartender server was delightfulMore

Good atmosphere, we sat in the little courtyard. Great pizza and reasonably priced. Service was friendly. We hadn't booked and it was a Friday night, but they found us a table.

Probably the best dinner we had on our roadtrip along the GOR. Would definitely recommend the potato and caramelized onion pizza! Call in to make your order in advance since the waiting time on site can be quite long, it’s worth it though!

We had a pizza takeaway here last night. It was the best pizza I have ever eaten. The crust was thin and crispy and the topping had lots of flavour.

Lovely warm rustic atmosphere 2nd visit did not disappoint. We had Prawn pizza with salad really good. Staff very friendly and, even though quite busy staff seem so relaxed.

We found the staff to be polite and friendly. The atmosphere out the back was great and so were the Pizzas. Not usually a big wrap for some gourmet pizzas but these were the exception - they were lovely. Will eat here again.

Ignored We visited this attractive pizzeria and bar on 17 March .It started well with a friendly greeting and we were sat in the conservatory .Drinks arrived and ordered taken promptly and then ……..nothing . After half an hour when people who had come in...after us had received their order I asked if they could check on our pizzas .I was told that the chef was busy with take outs and ours would be along shortly . After a further half an hour I queried our lack of pizzas .This time the waitress checked and came back and told us our order had been “burned” and new ones were coming in 10 minutes . After a further half an hour when we were the only people left in the cafe at that point (other than a chef eating her pizza with friends ) we asked again . After another considerable gap one pizza arrived and 15 minutes later the second one came . A singular lack of consideration for us, minimum apology and made to feel ungracious for complaining . This debacle ruined a good pizza .More

Ate dinner at Coffin Sally on a mid week visit to Port Fairy after a recommendation from our hotel owner. The pizza was delicious and the wine was good. Great location on the main street of Port Fairy. We were initially a bit perplexed by...the set up of shared tables with other diners, however, ended up speaking to some nice people. Would highly recommend and would definitely return if I was staying in Port Fairy again.More

Visiting Port fairy from Adelaide with fond memories of Coffin Sally (a couple of years ago). As it was a really gloomy evening, we ordered takeaway pizza. The two pizzas were absolutely sensational. So generous with toppings, extremely high quality, and very fresh.(not to mention...an excellent crispy base! ) We had high expectations from our last trip — and it didn’t disappoint. Up there with the best pizzas we have had… Highly recommend.More

I chanced upon this place after we couldn’t get a table at another restaurant and I’m glad to have found this place !! Their pizza was the bomb!!! It was just the right amount of crispiness and ingredients and their service was also wonderful. In...addition , they make a good cocktail !! Glad to have found this place and would certainly recommend it to anyoneMore

They only really do pizza, but in my view, they get it spot on. Beautiful bases with a variety of toppings from traditional to more esoteric. Lacks some atmosphere in a rather cavernous back room; maybe better in season? Recommended.

Ordered Capricciosa and pig face pizzas take away. Attempted ‘gourmet’ pizzas turned out to be oily with a burnt base and a poor spread of ingredients. Quite possibly the worst pizzas I’ve had in many many years. Very overrated place
