This would have to be the worst Chinese restaurant we have ever been to. We walked in at 7.15pm and asked for a table for 2. Well, you would have thought it was 11.30 as the rudest waitress ever said she’d have to check if...the kitchen was still going. They only open at 6 so this gives you a small window of opportunity to have a meal. Apparently you have to be fast eaters which is pretty hard considering that the ‘Pork in Plum Sauce’was like eating a leather handbag and the ‘Honey Chicken’ which all took 3 minutes to prepare (defrost) left a lot to be desired. There was a sign in the window advertising for wait staff and they certainly need it because they are scraping the bottom of a very deep barrel.More

Nothing about this experience was positive. When venues are only allowed 10 at a time and we were the only ones at 6.30 that should have given us an indication of what to expect. Two out of three dishes inedible, third was only just tolerable....Dead Sea salty, prawn toast was a joke. No prawn, I’d guess frozen and shoved in a sandwich press with oil from the fryer to ‘freshen’ up. FAIL! Cantonese beef tasted like BBQ sauce on inedible meat. The bits on side of plate are the inedible sinew. Just an absolute train wreck. Service: poor lady tried hard but I think she was under pressure from the owner.More

I don’t normally write a review but have on this occasion as I feel the public need to be warned about how bad this restaurant is. We attended recently and stopped the main meals coming due to the woeful entree’s. It was honestly that bad...we had to leave. Everything cooked was straight from the freezer. The prawn toast we ordered for entree was deep fried bread with sesame seeds with no prawn mince, the hot and sour soup smelt bad and the satay chicken was not edible. That was enough for us to leave. On top of this the “chef” sat behind glass separating the restaurant and the kitchen staring at customers making for a very uncomfortable experience. Please there are many many other restaurants in port fairy you do not need to eat here.More

Service was sub standard, drinks reasonably priced but the meals were the worst we had ever had! at any restaurant ever. Just shocking. So many other restaurants to chose from and so disappointed we picked this one....only because it wasn’t full and we hadn’t made...a booking. Go with gut instinct when a restaurant is nearly empty clearly there was a good reason why. Should’ve read reviews prior.More

Went in here as a last resort and wished we had all skipped dinner or got dominos pizza instead. The food is very over priced and of poor quality. Every dish was cheaply prepared and little to no flavour. Do yourself a favour and skip...this place.More

We ordered the homemade prawn toast for entree plus the lemon chicken, a seafood dish and special fried rice. The food were was very nice but our waitress (the older lady) had a real attitude problem. The other two young ladies were lovely. I would...recommend the food but the the woman's attitude spoilt our night.More

Have my family joining us from overseas - walked past Four Seasons. 1st considered to get a take-away then decided to sit down , BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER!! Our family favourite is chicken & beef chow mein and have eaten the above successfully around the world....How does @four seasons serve chow mein? Both beef and chicken were at best boiled and topped with a bland sauce. The best part perhaps the few pieces of veg tossed in. To top it off ..... wait for it (world 1st for me) the noodles were cold fried noodles!!! Never in my life have I had this before. The noodles were cold at best stale !! Can only only compare to stale chips/crisps left open in your pantry for the 6 weeks. So if you would like a plate of terrible chicken or beef with some real crappy crisps on top make a reservation!! Personally I would have gain more satisfaction by throwing $138 into the beautiful ocean at Port Fairy. Stay away!!More

We had dinner at this restaurant and the food was utterly disgusting. Chow mein with crispy noodles on the top. When we spoke to the lady at the front, she was so rude and actually argued with it. Beef chow mein was raw as well....Terrible.More
