Spoilt for choice off the menu. Fantastic food and service. great value. Pork belly/Chicken was fabulous and large veg /potatoes portions too. Crème Brule to finish. Amazing.

Excellent food, reasonably priced, excellent service. We visited here on a Friday night. The waiter (Aaron) took great care of us, was happy to make recommendations and made our evening very enjoyable. The food was excellent; we decided against the four course menu and just...selected our own. Highlight was the slow cooked lamb shoulder - fell off the bone and very tasty. Well worth a visit.More
Fantastic food, service and drinks. The lamb was possibly the best we have ever had!! Would definitely recommend and will definitely go again. Thanks.
We had dinner for two here and chose the tasting menu. Which was delicious. Excellent service, excellent ambience and excellent food. The wine part is based on choosing a bottle from their store and they charge an extra $15 on top for corkage and service....Many of the wines were local and of a high quality. The whole night exceeded our expectations.More
An outstanding experience all round at this fantastic restaurant in the heart of Port Fairy. Chefs tasting menu that was very reasonably priced, beautifully prepared and presented with outstanding flavours. Excellent sized portions and super friendly and efficient service which left us very satisfied and...hopefully we’ll be able to come again in the not too distant future. Well worth it if you find yourself in town.More
Wonderful tasting menu. Loved it all and the service was excellent. Staff went out of their way to a accomodate us with drive home during a hail storm. Had a wonderful evening. Thankyou to all.
We had the best time here the other night, every dish was to perfection! We will be going again. Highly recommend. We had 2 starters, 2 entrees, 2 mains and 2 dessert. We shared most between us and both loved every dish. The atmosphere was...great, and well organised friendly staff. 10/10More
World class Warm relaxing atmosphere, friendly service , starter oysters and prawn sesame toast, gnocchi and barramundi with side potatoes, finish with crepe brûlée with a Scottish spiced rum. This was the finest meal we’ve had in years , ive been to high rated European...restaurants , Conlins surpasses them, seriously superb ! You wont be disappointed.More
Conlan’s exceeded my expectations. Impeccable service, generous serves and a fabulous atmosphere. This was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. In fact, we over-ordered. Food was delicious, faultless. Thanks again.
I hate to write a bad review about anything but I think it's fair to warn people especially when there's a lot of money involved. The rating actually reflects the quality of the food as I think that is the most important thing, and not...value for money or service etc - although these were also relatively low considering the prices. We were extremely disappointed with the food and service at this restaurant. I think the chef likes to burn things eg the leeks in the starter I had were burned on the outside and raw on the inside making the whole dish unpleasant to eat. Three of us had the pork belly and the crackling was like a sheet of carbon. I've never had crackling done like that and I probably would've thought it was a mistake but when all 3 were the same I think the chef meant it to be like that. The celeriac puree that came with the pork belly was also really disgusting - I don't know why but it tasted awful. Other people had different dishes (barramundi and the beef ribs) and 'bland' is probably the best word to describe them. To top it off we found the service off-hand, not sure if it was due to arrogance or laziness - neither of which is a good thing when paying this much money for dinner. We only had 5 starters and 5 mains and 1 glass of wine and it cost $400. I found the fact that they didn't disclose 'hidden costs' also a bit unfair eg the filtered water was not on the menu and so we were never sure how much we were going to be charged for the bottles they brought, and also they provided 3 serves of bread (which we didn't ask for and thought was therefore included in the price of the dishes) without telling us that they were $3 each. All in all a very disappointing meal and of course we didn't stay for the dessert.More
