Best brunch in Port Fairy.

We had brunch here twice when attending the Port Fairy Literary Weekend. The menu is comprehensive and the coffee is very good. We had the Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and later with bacon. We also had the smashed avocado and poached egg. All dishes...were expertly cooked and presented - the best you can get anywhere. Service was timely and pleasant. This restaurant is so good that it is very popular, so you may need to pick the time of your visit when it is not so busy. Highly recommended.More

Nice local cafe

Good coffee is a good start to the day and coffee here was excellent. Very busy at breakfast but service was quick and though my breakfast request was simple it was delicious and the sourdough toast was terrific. A lot to like about this cafe!...Prices reasonable too.More

Nice brunch

Had an enjoyable breakfast in Port Fairy. Corn soup taste amazing. The chicken burger is delicious. Highly recommend this place for brunch.

Lunch

We took pot luck with this Cafe, after looking for somhere reputable to eat. Eureka!!! This was gold. The food was five star, the service five star and the efficiency to table from kitchen five star. 👌 we will be gladly advertising your superb oasis...to other intrepid travellers.More

Very popular with good reason

We arrived for brunch to find all indoor seats taken. Were guided to another seating area out back. Menu contained everything that you need for a lovely breakfast. Despite the crowd, the coffee and food arrived promptly. Food was freshly cooked and delicious. Worth stopping...but you can't book.More

Magnificent breakfast experience

The crowd tells it all - this is one of the best. Despite being busy we were served quickly and efficiently but above all was the quality of the breakfast, especially the bacon and great coffees that will have us returning. Well done and thank...you!More

Great Brunch, Great Coffee

Had brunch here and it was sooo good. The brisket beef burger was great, loved the chips. The haloumi with beetroot hummus and sweet potato is one of the best vege dishes I’ve had in a long long time. I’m not a vegetarian but enjoy...non meat meals, and this dish is an absolute winner, so colourful and tasty. The Toby’s Estate coffee was also very good.More

All around best breakfast and lunch in 20 days on the road.

We “rolled” into Port Fairy yesterday, and happened upon this restaurant for lunch. Probably, the best chicken, bacon sandwich ever, served with fresh chips. This morning, there was no hesitation as to where to have breakfast. Beautiful, as well as delicious, Scrambled eggs with chives,...toast, and lovely baked tomato. We’re be there again tomorrow, before we head out to The Great Ocean Road.More

Excellent place

We’ll be back

We plan to return via Pt Fairy so we can come back for another meal. My husband and I had the avo smash and enjoyed the extra touches. Although generous, I was sad to come to the end of my meal.

Unexpected delight

We stumbled across this lovely place when looking for place for breakfast. It was busy which is always a good sign. You could sit indoors or on the sidewalk and in the courtyard.

Delicious breakfast

Our hotel sent us here for breakfast and it was fabulous. My husband had the eggs Benedict and I had the house made Granola, both were delicious; mine was dotted with fresh fruit and sweetened with local honey. The coffee was very nice and the...service was excellent. Will definitely be back tomorrow.More

Nice breakfast

This is a busy cafe and has some nice meals. Bagels as well as granola were some favourites, Nice coffee. Outside tables for the good weather, this is a nice breakfast stop.
