Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stopped here for a drink on our way through and sat out in one of the lovely beer gardens. It’s a gorgeous spot. We just had wine, but the staff were great and everything was clean and convenient. The food looked good but we...had already eaten. Maybe next time, we will plan better!More

Nice atmosphere, however paid $39 for a porterhouse and 1/2 of it was grizzle. Not sure if it was even porterhouse! Warning - don’t have the steak!

A must for vegetarian music lovers! Four vegetarian choices (we had the tofu Thai salad which was delicious), welcoming staff, a nice atmosphere and great music on the juke box (first couple of songs were Robert Plant and John Martyn). Sadly we missed the weekend...live music but judging by the recorded music, it’ll be great.More

I enjoyed it. Dined out for dinner. Chose this place as it seemed to have the best menu option array in town. Typical pub menu in a good setting. Friendly staff. Chicken schnitzel with vegetables was good and my GF enjoyed her fish. Prices reasonable....Menu includes an extra special menu.More

The restaurant is great for a casual dinner. The food was great and service was very friendly. We booked a table and we were glad we did as it was full by 6pm on a weekday

What a great find. Great regional service and the food was the best we have had at any pub on the trip. Go out to the back for the restaurant, you will not be disappointed

Sorry but this hotel was very disappointing. The guy behind the bar was abrupt and in fact quite rude. Ordered a schooner of Carlton Draught and got the shock of my life when I was charged $9. We headed for the bistro and chose to...order “Fresh Fish and Chips with salad” for $28, it was the cheapest meal on a pretty expensive menu. The food arrived and it was a single measly piece of fish in a very dark batter, lots of chips and a pretty ordinary salad - very disappointing. We had two meals at this hotel - our first and our last - Never again.More

As guests in the hotel we opted to eat in the bistro in the evening. We sat in the area with the outside bar and thought the decor was fun and quirky. Ordered chicken ‘ribs’ to start that came with a tasty buffalo sauce and...the seafood fettuccine for mains. Service was quick, with our mains arriving before we finished the chicken. Portion size was good however, there was a lot more sauce than pasta, and had some large chunks of tomato that were slightly uncooked. However, overall the dish was good and sea food was cooked well.More

If eating in Port Campbell, this is my go to place. Used to be 12 Rocks, but a change in ownership there and this pubs new Reno’s and image means this is the place to go. Nice feel to place- eye friendly and their meals...much better than normal pub meals. Steak veg & chips perfect for me and other family enjoyed the local Flake & Beefburger. Well done Port Campbell Pub- really like the look, feel and meals of the placeMore

Love this pub! Delicious meals with a menu that offers a bit more than the usual pub fare...yum! The decor is very charming, cool and retro and staff and service friendly and kind. Getting our meals out to us in record time so we could...make it to London Bridge to see the fairy penguins at sunset with 2 hungry teenage boys was much appreciated. Thank you 💚More

The Port Campbell Pub Bistro was a welcome place on a cold winters night. The Bistro had a good and interesting menu for a small pub. The soup was a meal in itself and was very tasty. Prices were reasonable. The pub itself had a...strange feel to it and seemed to be geared towards the locals (nothing wrong with that!) Drink prices were on the slightly high side of drink prices along the Great Ocean RoadMore
