My folks wanted to go after hearing rave reviews.... I ordered a salad with extra dressing. I was told it would be $5 for extra! So I asked for it on the side. The waitress said "oh your one of those people". My dad ordered...pork belly which was tough and dry. My mum ordered two entree dishes which were ok other than the hair in the batter and in one ramekin. The waitress came over after a few minutes to ask if all was good. I showed her the lettuce core on my plate, the hairs on my mum's plate and said my dad needed more water from how dry his was. She rolled her eyes and said "if you don't like it, you can leave. We don't need people like you here". I asked for the manager but was told the manager had more important things to do... I went to the counter and asked for the manager. The manager said they weren't in the kitchen at the time so it wasn't their fault the food came as it did. I said my mum wanted a hair-free dish and my dad wanted to order something else that he could eat. The waitress came up and said (in front of the manager) we had been hard customers since we walked in and she refused to serve us anymore and "your dad's false teeth aren't my problem". Not that he has false teeth! Wow! The manager didn't say a thing. I asked if I could please get a refund on my parent's meals as the experience didn't warrant us wanting to exchange or try another dish but just to leave and I would pay for my salad I was told no. Mum had none of hers and shared mine and my dad tried to have one piece but stopped there. I overheard the waitress talking to other staff about me and pointing at my parents laughing at them. I was absolutely appalled. I also don't think the person I was talking to was the real manager either.More

I believe this review to be completely and utterly false. I am the manager and have no recollection of anything like this taking place in our 19 year history of trading. We have been rated number 1 in this town for almost 20 years, and...More

Been to this restaurant on many occasions and always found it to be so good. Meals are reasonably priced and good quality. Steak is lovely but very overpriced compared to other meals on the menu

An old school friend and I chose to catch up here for lunch and reminisce today... we realised as we sat there that we had known each other for 40 years now. The best part of this cafe is the unlimited car parking available because...it's part of a shopping centre. I booked a few days ago and the young lady on the phone was incredibly professional. Today the staff meeting me at the door were lovely and we were asked while we were eating how our meal was. I chose the gnocchi while my friend opted for something that sounded a lot healthier. The service was exceptional... the food was lovely... value was what one would expect. We had a lovely lunch today.More

As usual Que Bah service was fast and friendly. I enjoyed the fresh gnocchi with lamb. Serving could have been a bit bigger. My friend had fresh gummy shark and salad, that was a big serve. It was fresh and tasty. Worth the trip to...Morwell.More

Really missed Qu Bah while it was closed during Covid. Arrived on a Saturday afternoon without a booking and was seated outside. But for the loud talker at the next table, it was a great visit! We had the burger and the pesto gnocchi. Both...were exceptional in presentation and taste. To my mind, Qu Bah delivers better on food than most of the eateries within a 30km radius. Thanks again for a great outing!More

The last few times I have been waitressing staff hold poor attitudes they do not smile when greeting customers and this seems to be consistent behaviour from staff. Instead they are more enthusiastic about getting you out the door. Good food is not well enjoyed...with poor attitudes. This is not the Qu bah I once knew.More

I have dined at Qu Bah many, many times since my first review. The staff are always so professional, polite and friendly. Attentive. On previous visits my selected meal of Lamb Ragu was not available, though still on menu. I finally had it on this...visit and it was superb. The lamb ragu was so delicious, must have been slow cooked and so full of flavor. The gnocchi was indeed home made and out of this world. My partner had the prawn risotto and it looked great and I am told tasted great. The prawns were exceptionally fresh. Service was excellent as always. I really enjoyed this evening given we can rarely eat out during COVID. I made a booking and I would recommend to do so, while dining numbers are capped. Thank you Qu Bah!More

Went out for dinner with my partner and parents. It was a moderately busy Sunday night. The food came out promptly and the service was great! We shared the Cheesey Garlic Bread for entree which is served with a freaking delicious chili jam. Mum and...I shared the Pork Belly Salad and the Confit Duck. Both dishes were absolutely delicious with a good serving size! The Confit Duck has the perfect amount of heat to it and delicious little tart citrus bites to break up the richness of the caramel sauce. Dad got the Lamb Meatball Pasta (which I also tried) and it was tender, flavoursome and the pasta was cooked to perfection. My partner had the Calamari Salad (yes, I tried this too). The calamari was seasoned and cooked again to perfection, the salad was dressed and there were pickled vegetable to compliment the richness of the creamy dressing. It’s been a little hit and miss here in the past, but tonight’s meals were mindblowingly amazing and I will 110% be coming back and trying everything else on their new menu.More
