We had here our dinner which was Chicken parmigiana, it was delicious and I wish I could eat again the Chargrilled Prawns which we have chosen as appetizer. Our table had a nice view of the ocean, it was a great evening! :)

Had lunch at the hotel today. Terrible food. My parma was the worst - chicken was dry, no napoli sauce, cheese burnt. Couldn't even eat it! Husband had the fish which he said was below average. Plus, it was expensive. Go for a drink and the view only!

Take away the fantastic location and this place has nothing to offer. The food prices are outrageous. I had the 'special' hamburger. The burgers ARE better at Hungry Jacks - and a quarter the price! My wife had the souvlaki- thrown on to the plate with about as much care as everything else in this tired old pub. Had to... More

The best buffalo wings and calamari dish we have ever had! Indoor and outdoor roof top seating options. Great views over the beach.

We both had the curry - very tasty and slightly hot. It was an enormous portion - filled us up. Great views from the eating level overlooking the bay.

We spent Australia Day at the Lorne Hotel and quite enjoyed the experience. The menu and pricing were comparable with other restaurants in town and the meals were really nice. We didn't have the seafood platter but saw others with it and it looked amazing. Service was also good. I would definitely go back.

We are avid travellers and diners and rarely, in fact, i can't remember ever returning a meal but i must say this place is probably one of the worst places i have eaten at. The menu didn't have a great variety to choose from compared to a lot of other hotels but i thought a chicken parm was an easy... More

If your after a great location for food and wine while your staying in Lorne - make the effort to walk up to the west end of Lorne and visit the Lorne Hotel. We had good service, food, wine and location (outdoor eating area). Reasonable priced (we stayed for lunch) a good selection to choose from and very friendly staff.... More

Went for dinner on a Saturday night, the service was terrible, we weren't shown to our table the person just pointed as if we were wasting his time. They had only one person taking orders at the counter which resulted in standing in the line for over 15 minutes just to order food, was then told I couldn't order any... More
