Wonderful Staff. So obliging. Beautiful Fish & Chips by the Sea. Try the Flake and Chips. Sit on the Beach and enjoy the experience. Don't miss it. We know you'll be back Frank and Di Hamilton, Vic.

Friday night take away after we arrived in Lorne and this was the only Fish and Chip shop open ( we were advised to go to another but it had already closed) Only 1 staff member present who was clearly flustered and was doing all the cooking/serving. Service was relatively slow ( given only 1 staff member) The food itself... More

I have been on this earth for 49 years and never in my life have I ever seen anything as disgusting, unhealthy, expensive and inedible as what was presented to me at Lorne Fish & Chips. We arrived late into Lorne on Friday night and after check in at the Mantra, we went across the road for some fish and... More

We had take away from here recently. Fish was over battered and a bit soggy without great flavour. Chips were good.

If you're hungry and want something easy, maybe have some children with you, go there. As the name is telling you, you get fish and chips here but also more for the parents! I was keen by the selection of dips 👍🏼for me the food was a bit to oily and could have been cheaper (wasn't expensive at all!) ,... More

We stopped off for lunch here - after an excellent breakfast at the Mantra across the road, we weren't very hungry, but fish and chips were too good to pass up (actually I had a pie). The fish and chips were crisp and well-cooked, and wrapped in the traditional manner (butchers paper not newspaper though). It was a serve large... More

Ordered flake, scallops and calimari rings. They were so over cooked to the point it was inedible, the fish was dry, the scallops was hidden by a massive amount of burnt batter and the actual flesh of the scallop was about the size of a 10 cent piece and just as tender, the calamari ring could also be called rubber bands.There...
