As Seniors, the Bistro provides very good prices for lunch, and the meals are very nice. If you get in at noon, and get a booth seat, it's a bit quieter, and usually your meal comes out a little faster than otherwise!
We managed to score a table without a booking on the busy long weekend after popping in for lunch. Menu was standard pub type fare and arrived fairly quickly after ordering. Food was ok but relatively pricey for what it was. If possible, get a...table outside on the deck if the sun is shining.More
Beautiful food at very reasonable prices! Well worth a visit Curry's are awesome! beef cheeks to die for, and awesome ribs! Great service and wonderful atmosphere 👍
We wanted something quick and tasty, and that’s what we got. My risotto was super tasty, and so generous, most of it came home, where it tasted just as good the next day. Partners steak was cooked to perfection, with a good selection of sides....Not overly a fan of the wine options by the glass, but I guess it is good to see support for the local vineyardsMore
Well you would expect better under current Covid conditions. Ordered a simple chicken Parma and chips.Chips were cold and burnt my mouth on the chicken.slight burnt taste.Partner had the calamari cold chips and well if you can call a bit of rocket and parmesan a...salad it was looking a day old, limp.not my first visit but will be my last.More
My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary in Cowes on St Patricks day and dined at the Line Pine Restaurant located in the RSL Phillip Island. We had not made a booking, but were quickly allocated and shown to a good table by the...friendly staff. There was a good selection on the menu, which also catered for seniors. We had only purchased our drinks when our meals were presented. The looked great and the looks were not deceiving. We both had the eye fillet steaks and veggies. They were cooked perfectly. We succumbed to the delicious apple pie for desert. A memorable dinner to celebrate our anniversary. We were that impressed we returned the next 2 nights for dinner.More
We went for lunch over the long weekend, very busy. Meals were good, staff friendly. Cost not too expensive. Seniors meals a good size.
Dinner with friends, service is good, the food average, the atmosphere is good and it's kid friendly.

Our family of 3 teen boys, us and my mother in law had a great dinner Easter Sunday. 3 Parmas, 1 curry, 1 Calamari and 1 lamb roast. Everyone thought their food was very nice, and all meals arrived within a couple of minutes of...each other. Dishes not cheap but serve size was huge Good service on a very busy night.More

Went with my family to enjoy a meal. Each meal came out at extremely different times. Some had completely finished meals before others had even received them. I ordered a ceasar salad with no bacon, received a bowl of lettuce with an egg and mayonnaise....No anchovies and over cooked croutons. I paid $21 for a bowl of lettuce. Utterly disappointed is an understatement. Will never return.More
Hi Megan We are disappointed to read that we did not meet your expectations and from what we have read, we can understand your level of annoyance. Meals should have been served within minutes of each other - we do suggest that if you are...More
Shared an evening meal here with a family group which included children. Kids are well catered for which allows parents to enjoy a meal (almost) without interruption. The restaurant is extremely large and can feel a bit chaotic at times, with a high noise level....Staff were a little bit robotically pleasant. Our meals were prompt to arrive, but steak a bit on the overdone and on the dry side.More

We are regulars here and the meals are great traditional pub grub or counter meals. Service is good and always busy so bookings are a must in peak periods.
