Booked for Dinner during the Easter break. Arrived a little early and seated after a five minute wait. Waitress was young but attentive and informed us upfront of the corkage charge for bringing your own ($15) ouch! We decided to share Pizzas and ordered two between the four of us to start. They arrived quickly, were piping hot with perfect bases. We decided to order a third, which was just perfect for the four of us (2m,2f). We ordered: ‘Bianco Rosso’ Tomato, creamy stracciatella cheese & oregano - New taste experience for all of us and just beautiful. ‘Capricciosa’ Tomato, mozzarella, leg ham, mushrooms, olives & anchovies - Classic traditional style with just the right amount of anchovies. ‘The Buffalo’ Tomato, buffalo mozzarella, prosciutto di parma & basil - could have had a little more basil, but otherwise perfect. Would return without hesitation.

We use to go to the other Italian bear by , however after their quality dropped we ventured here and have not turned back ! The detail and care in the food is what you expect for the price and the staff are very attentive to detail . Pizza is always amazing , tried lasagne their lasagne fir the first time and will be ordering that again . Another fantastic option with sea views

This is the second time we came one on New Year’s Day and waited an hour for our food as they had too many people to serve and serving too much take away pizza. This time we arrived and we weren’t spread out covid safe which I heard people saying the same thing when they sat down next to us. Our food too quite a while. The octopus entree was delicious but my partners steak was over cooked. We also ordered the donuts which when arrived as were disappointed to see they were a brioche bun with an ice cream. Some great food but slow food waiting times, not covid spacing and some things underwhelming

Since we were on a tour we had limited time to grab a meal, our guide suggested we go to this restaurant since they worked with a number of tour companies and provided quick service. He was right. The food came quickly and our server was extremely good and pleasant. Since we had a late lunch, we ordered a snack that consisted of the Arancini and Bruschetta, which we enjoyed. Definitely a good choice since other individuals on our tour ordered complete dinners and they were able to eat without rushing.

This was my second visit here with 4 adults and 3 children under 10. The first time we got our entrees with a reasonable wait. However we were then made to wait over 1.5 hrs before we got mains, needless to say the children had started to turn 🤦‍♀️. As it was New Years Day, we figured it was just so busy, gave them the benefit of the doubt and gave it another go this year, as when the food arrived it was fine. Unfortunately same deal. Entrees came, mains over an hour. To add insult, the table of 10 who were seated after we had eaten our entree, received both their entrees and mains before we received ours. We complained to our server who was lovely and deeply apologetic, she then brought out the manager/owner. His response was rude, arrogant, he did not apologise at all. When we mentioned the table seated after us his words were ‘well I don’t know what they ordered’. He offered the children a complimentary ice cream, however, the ice cream shop is next door so you have to stand in a 20 minute queue to get one. We just said we were very disappointed and as a result we will not be returning. When he left, our server informed me many people had made complaints, he ignored them all, offers nothing and takes nothing on board. If his own staff are saying that then quite honestly I don’t know why they work there. Will never return ☹️

Our tour company took us here before we were going to attend the Penguin Parade. The menu was fairly large and our waiter/server was the owner. It is clear that he takes personal pride in his restaurant. Our visit was very pleasant. The view of the Cowes Jetty with its ferry boat ride to French Island made it fun to watch the comings and goings of tourists. The only less than perfect part was the average Italian food that was served. The portions were large (I had chicken parmigiana) but it came with French fries? I would have preferred a side salad or some other vegetable. On the plus side they also own an ice cream shop. So after our meal we had that going for us. As I said a good location, great service but mediocre food.

It took 15 minutes to line up to get seated for a booking we made two weeks ago and seated next to the toilets. That wasn’t the problem as we came a year ago and knew to order as soon as we got there (before 6) as we had two hour waits the year before. This time entrees came and the kids food arrived we then waited 55 minutes for mains. We asked twice for food wait times and tried to get kids dessert but said we had to go outside next door and line up for ice cream. We received mains but still waiting for a bottle of wine and then said to cancel the wine as it took so long. We asked to speak to the manager and let him know and he didn’t apologise and just said we are busy. He was very obnoxious as he didn’t listen and said we are busy. I mentioned maybe doing sittings for the kitchen capacity or don’t even take aways during the busy period being but they just ignored it . I then mentioned it to I’m guessing the mum who was the owner who made excuses for her privileged son and gave no apology or even a small discount. I’m not asking for a free meal but some sort of understanding but nothing. It’s sad it’s a big tourism place and everyone goes there but support the friendly small businesses that care. I thought we had had two bad experiences but then my mum had the same and then my husband found another review on the same experience.

Wife and I just had dinner here. Great view of the water from inside and out. We sat inside at a window table, about 50m from water. The staff are lovely. We had Doz oysters, pizza, salad and a bottle of Pinot. The oysters were fresh and pizza was great, wood fired and only $20. . Currently finishing off our wine at the outdoor tables looking at the pier. Definitely give this place a go if you are down the island.

This restaurant used to be lovely. Went there recently for our anniversary dinner and was extremely disappointed. I ordered the special pasta which had baby bugs and prawns- it didn’t have one prawn in the dish and the pasta was very undercooked. Hubby had carbonara (used to be our favourite there) but again this was very disappointing- under cooked pasta and hardly any sauce. Also they have “upgraded” the ice cream bar next door which has tried too hard to be up market and certainly not a place to take the kids anymore for their favorite flavours. Only about 6 flavours and very expensive now. Not sure what’s happened to this iconic beautiful resultant but very dissapointed and won’t be going there anymore.

We ordered the special swordfish meals which were expensive and they came out cold! My children’s chicken parmigiana was nothing special. What really ruined the evening was the arrogant manager who gave everyone attitude and brought us our bill when we hadn’t even asked for it. He rushed people to eat and then leave! Also, it was so busy with no social distancing at all. There are much better places in the area.

We were on the Penguins on Parade tour and had 45 minutes for dinner. The pizza and the seafood marinara was above average with a nice wine complement. We tipped the waiter 20% and he said all of it would go to the Bush Fire Relief Fund

We ordered the gnocchi, seafood marinara, and the carbonara dishes which were average but not really worth what we paid. The service was odd to say the least and no COVID distancing in place. One of our chairs was so close to the table next to us that they were touching a fellow diner. Not sure I would spend my money there on a future visit.

Amazing restaurant looking out to an amazing view in an amazing location, you cannot go wrong going to this amazing place i defiantly think everyone who is going to cowes should come here one day. As much as it is amazing the prices are quite expensive for certain items on the menu so I would check that before you come, also its a bit dark inside especially at dinner time when it comes later into the night. But i would recommend this restaurant for anyone weather you have little children or your going with a group of friends. Also the staff were all very kind and apologetic if something went wrong. I have been here multiple times and can say ive never had a bad experience

Great lunch at this restaurant. The pasta was house made, full of flavour and very fresh. Service was ok, being able to split bills individually for large groups would be appreciated. Our meal at Isola Di Capri made a nice change from the fried and frozen fair of many other local restaurants.

The man at the front (manager/owner) made us wait 15 mins to be seated despite having a booking. We then watched as a number of tables were served before us despite us being there well before them. When we raised it with him his care factor was clearly low. We were understanding that they were busy but being served after tables that arrived after us was poor. The explanation “what do you want me to do”. The food was ok at best. Coupled with poor service there are plenty of better options nearby with better service and better food.
